uthorn1374
How is Ohio State even favored after the mass exodus about to take place after they win the national championship?

My thoughts exactly. Then let's not forget Oregon is losing DG. Call me crazy, but I feel like we have the ability to be just as good if not grow into a better football team depending on who else is leaving.

Atticus
We should be the favorites, but if everything falls in place for Ohio state then that makes sense too. Oregon makes no sense unless Dante Moore’s hype is completely warranted after his dismal showing at UCLA.
CHorn427
I think the 3 most likely teams are Texas, Penn State or Clemson. Drew Allar and Cade Klubnik stand a good chance of being Heisman candidates next season. Both of PSU’s good RBs announced their return today. Most of these lines reflect people’s inability to see past the present.
Glass Joe
Clemson is the most likely team to make the CFB Playoffs next season. As weird as that is to type. I think Texas should be the pre-season #1 based on returning talent, and I’m not sure it’s really close. LSU is my surprise to contend for the SEC Championship and to make the Playoffs. They have the best offensive skill talent in the country (but also an atrocious defense).
Texas fan in Georgia
19 minutes ago, uthorn1374 said: How is Ohio State even favored after the mass exodus about to take place after they win the national championship? Well they spent $20 million on this years roster that’s about to win a natty, only can think they’ll spend close to or the same as what they spent this past year
uthorn1374
Several sites have us as the favorites. All other teams have questions at QB besides us. I would bet we are in the Natty at the very least next year. Edited January 13 by uthorn1374

watty7796
It's a Little early for betting odds. Tons of moving piece, portal, injuries etc. Loaded with talent, but how that talent gets developed plus the aforementioned makes that a little crazy. They had only 4 guys go in the draft last year because essentially anybody who could come back came back for them. They won’t be able to do that for $80 million this year. They were also able to pick up Quinshon Judkins and Caleb Downs around this time last year in the winter portal window. I don’t think there will be opportunity for them to make moves of that magnitude during the winter portal window this year. The only one mega move I could see for them is if they pick up Quinn. Their floor looks like 10-2 to me (Oregon and tOSU only feasible losses). Even then, they have Oregon at home and SHOULD be their year to beat tOSU with Allar and both RBs returning. I can't beleive we couldn't keep Golden. We are losing all our speed on Offense and currently have none coming in. Hoping our collective has been making calls to non portal dudes to help out. With school stsrting, assuming SEC players are no longer available.
