I'm sure I am missing something -- I would assume the players that left Texas to other SEC schools are not sitting out 2025? So how are they able to work around that rule?

It only applies to spring portal transfers.

Does he want to sit for a year and develop?

Idk the validity to this, but LSU posters said there is a loophole where all they have to do is unenroll and then reenroll at the new school and become immediately available. I think the precedent was set by that Wisconsin debacle earlier this year when they wouldn’t release a kid or something.

Take it with a grain of salt though bc LSU fans haven’t been known to be the smartest or straight shooters anyway. Always doin shady stuff…

Now that I think of it didn’t D’antre Robinson do something similar last year? Signed with Texas but after you know who left he requested and got a release to sign with Florida

Bo has been a lazy recruiter for the last 4 years, and banking paychecks along the way.  Now, he gets a new NFL paycheck and doesn’t even have to recruit any more.

It’s good work if you can get it.

He’s probably better off there given his lack of recruiting chops. Seems like a great teacher/culture guy though.
