I always agree with this. We would have had to put up 20 and we'd beat them. The run game would have been limited so we really think JJ would light it up? Granted our secondary wasn't great last year but i'm not / was never a believer in JJ.

Completely agree. Plus I think we had the offensive pieces to give that “vaunted” defense problems. Look what we did to them this past season in their place with less skill and continuity on offense. Definitely a missed opportunity. But just like we matched up well against Michigan, Washington matched up well against us… I still gotta remember that we fumbled twice in that 2nd half & still almost won it. Just pain.

2000’s: I only watched one game and that was the 2009 Natty so that.(Self-Explanatory

2010’s: Cal 2015 & Kansas 2016

2020’s: OU 2021, Washington 2023(After J Whitt caught that deep ball I thought we were gonna have a VY moment and was so hyped i got very lightheaded, 2024 OSU ( I was very sick and was at Jerry World for the game and seeing the ball stripped and Sawyer run the whole way as the opposite side went crazy and then hearing that fight song after was a punch to the gut)
