harveycmd Posted March 17 Posted March 17 For Gerry and Rod. I dunked in game against Waskom in 1989 on an alley oop to myself off the backboard. Had a goal tending call against Hugh Springs later that season. Strange play. Coach for Hugh Springs got a tech for complaining about me blocking a dunk. I hung on the rim before the actual block. We were getting killed. I played with those guys in summer league. My coach, John Moss, told us during a time out that if we got dunked on again he'd run us until we dropped. Next play, big guy stole an inbound pass. I jumped and hung on the rim before he got there. Blocked the dunk while hanging on rim. Hugh Springs coach went nuts. Ref told him the block was clean, but he gave me a tech for hanging on the rim. Quote
