Milam botches a play at short on a ground ball by Mendoza. He's safe on an error charged to Milam. Belyeu comes up with two outs and Mendoza on first.

Dickinson couldn't get to Belyeu's grounder, which scoots into right field. Flores is up with two on and two outs.

A nice defensive play by Mendoza ends the top of the eighth, helping Howard work around a leadoff walk.
