  1. Don't forget that you can block people by going into your profile and finding the Ignore User section.
  2. Earl and Ricky. Too bad we did not get Eric and Craig. They could have been the Longhorn Express.
  3. Heard on the radio that about 1.5 million hot dogs will be eaten today.
  4. He did it again, but only ate 66. He must be saving room for some corn dogs for dessert. With mustard of course.
  5. Very Patriotic of them.
  6. I wonder if there is a corn dog eating contest somewhere and if so who the champion is.
  7. 🌭🥧⚾🎉
  8. I think most of us are in that club with you.
  9. It took Luke a long time to get back from his TJ surgery. He has been really good compared to last year.
  10. Well, since we have three hitting coaches now we should be able to get him to start tapping into that upside.
  11. His stats aren't so hot. I wonder if he has a lot of upside.
  12. These two new guys are hitting coaches, as is Tulowitzki. I wonder how the duties will be split. I know that each can do other things too.
  13. Anybody know anything about incoming high schooler Cohen Tigerina? @Blake Munroe @Jeff Howe @CJ Vogel Saw something on Twitter about the incoming class of high schoolers and saw a name I do not recall checking on before- Cohen Tigerina from Florida. He is listed as an outfielder. I did some research and his high school stats were not very good. His only reasonable stat was 14 stolen bases.
  14. Yeah, and I believe both said they would not do that. I also think we lost one or two high school guys who were drafted fairly low but went pro anyway.
  15. Just committed to Ohio State. Boo
  16. Wow. I didn't realize that. Must be because Texas was in it! Hook'em.
  17. Mom put Little Debbie pies like that (not with mayo of course) in our lunch for years. I got to hate them and started trading them for anything. They must have been cheap.
  18. Never should have stopped there. It is not good for your blood pressure.
  19. You are right about that. I think they have tried to get him out of that dead pull problem. Also, a lot of his Ks come from having to take early pitches and getting behind a lot. And with his not so great eye for the ball and bat control he is a sucker for those low and outside sliders and curve balls. Those 81 Ks are nothing to sneeze at. Of course they aren't in the Trey Faltine range but they need to be cut down. He is a very good infielder and with a bit more plate work and discipline he can be a much better hitter.
  20. Mayo on a corn dog will do it ever time.
  21. Like Blake said, they do not have to declare. Many make the decision to go pro or not after the draft. The really good ones who are predicted to high, may indicate in advance they are going but still have to wait and see how high they go in the draft. College players and high schoolers who want to go but are not sure where they will be drafted just sit back and wait for the draft and then make a decision based on how high they are drafted and how much money they will get. Some high schoolers who will probably be drafted sometimes tell pro scouts that they intend to go to college even if drafted and that can effect where they are drafted, probably slipping a bit in the draft. With some NIL money available for college ball there is more of an enticement to play in college for some of the people. Of course, there are some really good players who still choose to go to college even if they are drafted relatively high because they and their families want the college experience, an education, and development.
