I've heard Texas A&M is making headway for Bastrop QB Weston Nielsen as well. Texas hosted Nielsen for the June 1 Elite Camp in 2024, but have not been in frequent contact.

Wow!  Seems to have a really strong but accurate arm.  He modulates his throws extremely well to ensure his receivers have a very well placed catchable ball. 

Any chance the public can watch this throwing session without a drone??  It will be fascinating.
