I graduated from UT in 1976 and I wanted an advanced degree and I also wanted to extend my stay in Austin. I applied to the Law School and the LBJ School. The School of Law said "thanks but no thanks." My LSAT score was good but not good enough. My Graduate SAT ( forgot what it was called ) score was better and the LBJ School required an interview with a faculty committee. They said "come on in." Interestingly, both schools were considering a joint degree program and I was invited with several LBJ students to take two classes at the Law School. I did just fine in both. The joint degree program was established later and I think there's now a joint degree with the McCombs School also. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed graduate school even more than the traditional four years of undergrad at Texas. An MBA from UT is prestigious and will serve you well in the future. Best wishes to you and enjoy two more years of student tickets to the Longhorns football games! Hook 'Em! . 5 Quote

I think I’m going to enjoy my two years watching sports a little better 🤘🏻 1 1 Quote
