Bt2593 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Georgia just got their 2nd TE commit. Could that be good news for Texas and Prothro? 3 1 1 Quote
Sundancekid Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Could be… but TE doesn’t seem like the highest priority position with what we have. Washington, Townsend and Watson with Endries and others… stacked. The big blocking TE might be the way to go if our oline is a little smaller than expected. Quote
James Bianchetta Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago No. Georgia is selling him as an “offensive weapon”, an X receiver, slot receiver, or tight end. Kent isn’t even close to the level that Prothro is, receiving wise. Also, Prothro is a done deal to UGA. 1 Quote

Honestly I don’t think Texas will match nil here. Intriguing prospect but lots of question marks to maximize, and even if he does will take a few years to do so. 1 Quote

Washington was all hype and is now I think 3rd or 4th on the Steelers depth chart. Anyone else I’m missing? 1 Quote
Horn89 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I honestly think it’s better news if for some reason things go sideways between Bowman and USC before December. I know the mods have said he’s locked in but USC deals have fallen through in the past. If that happens again, Texas would be in the driver seat. Quote

And only Bowers has been good. The others are back ups or back ups back ups. But if you’re talking strictly college success then yes he has. Quote
