Drew Lockhart Posted yesterday at 04:05 PM Posted yesterday at 04:05 PM I’ve witnessed 2-3 recruits throw a Longhorn hat on the ground during live commitments. OUR STAFF AND PLAYERS use all available resources to give these recruits a great experience on their OV’s and in constant communication for months building these relationships treating them as major priorities. I haven’t seen or heard of this happening elsewhere, although I’m sure it does. I know there’s not a direct explanation. However, it’s hard to fathom, especially in-state recruits. I guess I’m not understanding where the behavior is coming from, especially a K Finley. Regardless of his statement he put out to all the schools after the fact. PRAYERS TO ALL TEXANS IN NEED RIGHT NOW. Hook’em 2 Quote

Deadhead_Horn Posted yesterday at 04:22 PM Posted yesterday at 04:22 PM I wouldn't read that deep into it. I don't think its about the schools that we are perceiving they are disrespecting, its more about themselves and the schools they are committing too. Is it a bit narcissistic? Yeah, but we are also talking about 17 year olds. 2 Quote
Paul Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) It is all about class and I have faith Sark will "weed" out as many of these posers as he can. I am so on board with Sark telling these kids if they are coming to UT solely for the money, go elsewhere. See Ojo's commitment. The culture has to mean something. Edited 23 hours ago by Paul 1 Quote
justwinbaby Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I don’t get too high or low over the announcements from these prospects. Get back with me in December on the class. Quote
