His rankings aren’t “the top coaches in college football”. They are coaches vs expectations rankings. If you want to learn more, scroll down in this article and he explains it… https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45739570/ranking-best-college-football-coaches-last-20-years 2 Quote

Honestly, where is there "tenuous depth" on the roster, especially compared to what other programs have? I would say across every position Texas would have a top 10 depth. 1 Quote

Oh I disagree with a lot he says, including his rankings. I was just pointing out that the graphic title is misleading in the sense of he personally doesn’t necessarily think Heupel is better than Smart or Sark, for example. 1 Quote

alrightalrightalright Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago What I like digging into on Connelly’s posts are his efficiency projections for offense, defense, and specials teams. His projection for us having the 17th best efficiency ranking on offense is off to me, especially since he has Georgia at 8. I’m biased but we’re more talented / will be more efficient on offense. Our ST ranks 135th (which after last year, sure) but we brought in Matt Moran as a special assistant, punter Jack Bouwmeester, and kicker Mason Shipley. Quote
Hornito Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Eh sounds like he’s just looking for things to write. Basically, “what if everything goes wrong”? Well if everything goes wrong then Texas probably won’t be as good as people think. Mind blowing stuff! Texas doesn’t have proven depth… umm, well who freaking does these days? Sure we don’t have proven players behind the starters at every position. This can be said about every other team in the country. It’s just one of the only flaws to chat about when it comes to Texas. 2 Quote
