TooBrokeToPayAttention21 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Anyone know of any games that would be good to check out in a couple of weeks or have a website that lists the games for the above week? Again, @Gerry Hamilton may know more than anyone about this but I thought I would ask.😁🤘 Quote
DanielOnorato Posted August 22 Posted August 22 There's a thread with some of the upcoming games that Gerry and CJ outlined earlier today. For Texas recruits, commits from the state of Florida play tonight and this weekend. Dia Bells game for American Heritage is nationally broadcast tonight and Derrick Cooper with Chaminade Madonna plays tomorrow on national tv. For future Texas high school games I believe you can watch live broadcasts through Dave Campbell's website with a paid subscription as their games start next week. Quote

LonghornFan4Ever Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Derrek Cooper's team about to take the field Quote
Hookem72 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I can see why Cooper wants to go to a team that has a great O-line. St Frances almost beating him to the handoff. Hard to do anything as a RB when your Oline is having their asses handed to them. Quote

Moderators Blake Munroe Posted August 24 Moderators Posted August 24 Right off the bat I see South Oak Cliff @ Duncanville. Make the 40 mile drive and go see that. Or make the 75 mile drive and go see DeSoto @ North Crowley (Texas OL commit John Turntine) Both are chock-full of talent. Cant go wrong with either game. Your other somewhat close (within 65ish miles) options would be… Gilmer vs Chapel Hill Celina vs Waco La Vega Terrell vs Frisco Heritage Frisco Memorial vs Woodrow Wilson Waxahachie vs Coppell Tyler vs Tyler Legacy If you’re wanting something smaller I can look at those, but those first two I listed is what I would do 1 Quote
Moderators Blake Munroe Posted August 24 Moderators Posted August 24 Highland Park vs Lucas Lovejoy Anna vs Gunter These both will be great games too! Quote
Moderators Blake Munroe Posted August 24 Moderators Posted August 24 Longview and Marshall is another, but a bit further. Quote
Moderators Blake Munroe Posted August 24 Moderators Posted August 24 Prosper and Rockwall Heath is another that might be pretty good. Quote

Moderators Blake Munroe Posted August 24 Moderators Posted August 24 You’ll have to let us know which one you choose. SOC/Duncanville is the play, imo, if you stay close…. Unless you wanna drive the extra 30ish miles and, in that case, Desoto @ North Crowley is gonna be great. Quote
TooBrokeToPayAttention21 Posted August 25 Author Posted August 25 Man that's a tough choice I'm gonna have to think on it. I like closer so Duncanville/SOC might be better but North Crowley/DeSoto would be amazing as well. Here's another question, whichever game I go to who's side to I sit on? Or do I just pick a side and I win either way? Quote

James Posted August 25 Posted August 25 La Porte vs Deer Park will be a good one from a rivalry perspective and La Porte opening up there new stadium this week. Quote
