Obviously football is the most popular and highest revenue generating sport at UT, but why do I have this strange feeling that’s it will be a down season for UT athletics as a whole?

Going to be some growing pains this season. This will be a rebuilding season. This team is so talented but so young…

The only critique I have of the defense is like 2008 and 2010, they’re not forcing turnovers. Other than that they’re doing everything they can to keep the offense in these games, but not getting enough help.

    He’s washed. Not a chance.

Fortunately, soccer has picked up the slack. This is going to be a tightly contested Directors’ Cup race if the fall sports are an indication of how this college athletics season is going to go for Texas…

If it’s a historical ranking then yes Elliott clears Sark by a mile. If it’s where would you rank them right now then I would take Sark ever so slightly over Elliott, but wouldn’t push back too hard on anyone that disagrees.

If it’s for the main six sports, then I would rank them like this: 1. Mike White 2. Vic Schaefer 3. Jim Schlossnagle 4. Sean Miller 5. Steve Sarkisian 6. Jerritt Elliott

    Even 2007 didn’t have a weekend like this…

All three are playcallers for their phase of football too. Even if your unit is good, hard to do that and fulfill your HC duties simultaneously at a major program in this era of college football.

Idk about Freeman. He has a free ride to the CFP every season at ND guaranteed. Doubt he would give up that luxury.

Mikey Lewis is out and they won like that...

No chance. Kiffin leaving Tennessee for USC the way he did permanently burned bridges with the entire Manning family.

No way he leaves ND. He only has to coach in 4 or 5 real games a season, especially with the 24-team CFP beginning next season.

This team is 2025 Penn State 2.0.

Texas destroyed SMU in a scrimmage this morning.

What a fitting way for the Sark era to end...

This is funnier than any comedy shows I've ever attended.

That was "gimme my buyout, CDC" playcalling.

Juluke has been here for 15 minutes lol but the rest I agree

If Texas wasn’t about to go like 8-4, he would.
