    I like how the general narrative (outside of here) around the DL is that we just replaced the production from the portal, while the truth is that AC has taken a massive step up and the overall depth added in the portal has helped weather the blow of losing Sweat and Murphy in the aggregate. While at WR, we have definitely replaced production immediately with portal players I don’t think it’s the same for the DL. As Bobby has mentioned, you cannot just add water (via the portal) and have an impact player especially on the DL.

    Hey CJ, happy tuesday to you! Wanted to ask your thoughts on JJR and Kobe Black playing this weekend, Black played more snaps and didn’t necessarily need to play more because of an injury like in JJR’s case. Has he simply earned more snaps through great practice? Also is there any chance he gets a shot at safety in the future with his size and length?

    For sure, Holton Hill was talented and definitely better than Boyd. I’m glad to see Boyd on the Texans, his issue at Texas was he never turned his damn head around to the ball!

    CJ, do you think the defense that Georgia played against Miss St was a one-game anomaly or is a greater sign of the defensive decline for the bulldogs? I find it hard to believe that UGA will be that undisciplined against Texas

    Eugene for the Ohio St - Oregon game instead of the Red River Rivalry unfortunately. Hopefully the Alabama loss locks up gameday coming to Austin for Georgia game.

    you know OU is going to be punching at that ball every time he gets a carry, they were constantly doing it in last years game too. Speaking of, I just re-watched the 2023 RRR and the first half was some of the wildest football I can remember, just constantly trading haymakers, trick plays, and momentum shifts.

    I would prefer Georgia to win so there could potentially be a 1 vs 2 matchup at DKR, first time in a regular season since the Game of the Century (Bama vs LSU in 2011).
