    Just don’t let Ewers go to Dallas…I’m holding out hope they draft Manning in 3-4 years. Can you imagine the jerseys Jerry would sell with a Manning on the back of it?

    I’d be surprised if Ewers isn’t drafted in the 1st Rd. Especially given the blitz (no pun intended) that took place in the ‘24 draft.

    Someone on X had a picture from Cabo of what looks like a Longhorn in the eclipse. God’s handiwork and majesty was on display in the eclipse. It was awesome. Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”

    @Blake Munroe I just came across this and wanted to pass it on. I know the YouTube channel is “Coffee and Football” but this is still a cool topic I know we mention some. I just saw a note from X wherein Hail State Barstool stated, with Justin Foscue being called up by the Texas Rangers, that Mississippi State now stands alone at the top of the SEC with 12 current MLB players. With Texas going to the SEC and the hand-wringing over how we’ll perform, I thought it was a notable topic to mention. #HookEm

    I am interested to see whether or not Texas will get holding calls FOR them or if it’s just something that is being largely ignored in college football.

    Really interested to see Moore on the field. If our front can create some real pressure (not just simulated) and disrupt the plans of the other offense it feels like our backend is getting to a point in development and depth they can lock things down.

    I went OU. I know the “right” answer is Aggies, but I think OU is a bigger actual threat.

    Agree. I don’t get the love for Ohio State with Howard. They’ll be good, but #3? Guess we’ll see when they play Oregon.

    On top of talent putting them close to each other, the bromance with Sark & Lane, and both being in the SEC… I think Ole Miss in powder blues and Texas in stormtrooper whites would be amazing to watch. AND you’ve got the Manning and OleMiss angle. I’d love that game.

    I’m NOT saying that’s what the coach did OR that’s what other coaches do. BUT…this is exactly the reason why I support transfer portals for kids. Coaches can get a kid to buy in and then leave with no warning for greener pastures and the 17-19 year old kids have little recourse (and little sympathy from people who talk about them getting a “free education.”) Hoping Sark is really working on getting kids to play FOR Texas, not AT Texas. HookEm.
