  1. Good luck to em. I don’t think they want that smoke.
  2. I’m curious what they consider a “blue blood.” Hey……what if Texas already told ND that the next few years are called off, and Tech convinces the Irish to play????
  3. Forgive me, apparently I was partially wrong- Sark said they could play their schedule (which would include the Big12 teams) with their 2s and 3s. But anybody suggesting that Sark said they’d beat Tech with them is either misled or fabricating things.
  4. Surely the Tech coach realizes Sark didn’t say Texas could beat Tech with their 2s and 3s. The narrative that that’s what Sark said is ridiculous. And if Texas couldn’t beat Oregon State and ACU with their 2s and 3s- that’s a problem.
  5. One can go to college at any age. If they still have the physical wherewithal to compete- why not?
  6. Why an age limit? He’s never played college football and he will be past a young prime anyway. This isn’t breaking any rules.
  7. I want an axolotl
  8. I don’t think Sark was trying to make it about Tech. See his comments on “basket weaving” and Ole Miss. Sark is fighting for his university and his team and he is still sore from missing out on the CFP last year. Did Texas deserve to be in over teams who played much less staunch opponents? As a fan, I say yes. But judging based solely on record, no. So Sark is leaning in on highlighting the disparity in opponent and schedule, which is stark. He is making the case for Texas he was making last year. He is publicly posturing for acceptance of the narrative that it’s harder to win at Texas than other places. Is that fair? Who knows. But I think he’s sick of the “Texas is the bogeyman” stigma and he’s coming out “guns blazing” (sorry Tech). He’s right and the system is flawed and unsustainable. Until more applicable metrics are applied, and a broader range of them, schools with a difficult conference and OOC schedules will be negatively impacted.
  9. Texas wins nothing by playing Tech. I’d rather play…..*whispers*…Maryland again.
  10. If there’s anything I can ever do for you or pray for, let me know.
  11. Seems unreal. So sad. Make sure your soul is right with God because we never know what is coming. If you want or need any assistance, reach out.
  12. @CJ VogelHe mentioned you in another article. Apparently your t-shirt fandom is showing (never understood why that’s a good dig at someone).
  13. That article said Texas underperformed in the 2024 game and it was a “close call of the highest order.” Um…Texas dominated that game and should have blown them out. The article also says that this year’s A&M team will be better than 2024 and Texas will be worse than 2024 and maybe even have “three or four losses” by that game. They better hope that’s the case. Because if Texas looks like it seems Texas will look and, Lord willing, everybody stays healthy…A&M will get run out of their own house.
  14. Arch & Texas are primed to mop the floor with any and all foes.
  15. Been with OTF since very early when we got the news that Gerry was coming back. To anybody here new (and old), if you ever need prayer for anything or some sort of assistance or spiritual support and guidance- feel free to reach out.
  16. The “one student athlete and one season” is misleading. This would set precedent which would have far reaching implications for future student athlete gambling.
  17. A 24-team playoff would be insane. The quality of matchups would inevitably, just based on sheer number, be of greater entertainment value and far surpass the current declining bowl system.
  18. Texas should be good enough it won’t matter. Win it all.
  19. Gambling is no joke. Don’t fall into that trap. God is good, trust & rely Him instead.
