    I’m going to be SHOCKED if Sark shifts gears and lets anybody else control his offense. I just hope he adjusts some things. Our philosophy doesn’t seem complementary or physical enough.

    Maybe. Who knows. I don’t think Sark is as myopic as we like to think. I bet he knows what’s wrong with the team but can’t do anything about it while the calendar still says 2025.

    How bout we don’t and instead watch the game through our fingers and hope.

    I think even the plays Sark calls and him calling plays are fine. I think the biggest issue is this team isn’t A) Physical enough, B) Mean enough, C) Fast enough If the OL was pushing people around, we had an horse and RB, and the WR had the same speed we’ve had recently, Texas would be fine (and probably 9-1).

    I feel like, if Sark could look inside and see things he must change and alter some aspects of his approach and the bones of the staff and continue to grow- then Texas could be dangerous. If Sark doesn’t continue to mature as a coach, Texas (perhaps) has hit his ceiling. Let’s hope we’re not there yet. HookEm.

    I don’t doubt he’s “a bright cat,” but sometimes we all are blind to our own deficiencies. I hope he sees them and is more aware of changes than we assume. He probably is; it’s not like I’m anything more than a dumb fan whose job has nothing to do with football or sports. I do think he’s likely headed to the NFL at some point. I just didn’t figure it’d be until Arch was gone. Now…I don’t know.

    I don’t completely disagree, but my biggest highlight of what you’re saying is I don’t see Sark seeing the shortcomings. I don’t see him changing scheme. I don’t see him altering course. I honestly think that’s the foundation to be disenchanted with the whole thing. Sark believes in his system and has shown no signs it’s going to change. Where’s the hope that the “see it and solve it” we all want is even going to transpire?
