    He’s going to create a problem for Jerry. Jerry seems to hate drafting Longhorns BUT he can’t help drafting OL.

    The problem with Sark and a transfer QB is the system he operates. Sark’s offense is self-admittedly complex and difficult to operate. If you bring in a star QB there’s no guarantee they will be able to operate efficiently enough to be proficient, much less light it up.

    I love it. It keeps more fanbases engaged for longer. Ideally Texas should expect to be in every year. Parity almost necessitates it to overcome conference strength and schedule disparities.

    Terrible. I cannot fathom how a professional defense can be so poor. They’re completely ineffective. OU could score on them.

    Texas IS consistent. Consistently -asleep in the 3rd quarter -lacking on special teams -playing with too loose or emotions -playing up to big games -playing down to opponents

    @Gerry Hamilton I realize you can only say so much; if you can’t say anything, I understand. But what’s your take on the % Sark sticks with Arch or we actually see some real change this Saturday?

    Hope it’s not real (yet) because I’d hate for the kid to get in trouble. But I do think he should start. If even half of the open WR had been hit the last 2 weeks, Texas is 6-0.

    This. As much as I celebrated his arrival and championed having the young man play- the film breakdown clearly shows Arch isn’t currently firing on even half of his cylinders right now on the field.

    Arch doesn’t seem to have the, as @Gerry Hamilton calls it, “innate” football prowess to be that sort of a QB.

    I’m currently reading a book by Scott Rae called Moral Choices: An Introduction to Ethics. I don’t agree with everything in the book, but it’s been pretty solid.

    The problem with Coleman is there are plays where he’s wide open…Arch just doesn’t see him.
