    Texas is significantly better this year in punting and field goal kicking as compared to last year. Could easily be the deciding factor for this Week 1 game.

    Do you know which section has been designated as the Texas section? Also, if you have purchased tickets, which section are you sitting in? I will be buying tickets in the next week or so and would prefer to be sitting close to other Longhorns, instead of in the middle of a sea of Buckeyes. Thanks!

    We’ll have to see with the other new starters, but our back-up LT Goosby who will be starting this year already went up against two NFL first round picks at Edge last year in the A&M and Georgia SEC Championship game and held his own, not allowing a sack, when Kelvin Banks was out injured.

    Definitely a new age of college football. A few years, you could make a lot of money betting SMU could flip a kid from Louisiana from LSU, but nowadays, nothing is surprising.

    Happy Birthday Gerry!!! I was excited when Bobby started up OTF, but it wasn’t complete until he announced that you would be coming over as well. Really appreciate all of the coverage and insight. It definitely helps the off-season go by faster.

    Baker Mayfield lost to a 5-7 Texas team in 2015. That alone should have moved him down a few notches on the list.

    In 2021 UCLA was an 11 seed and played Michigan State in the First Four play-in game on their way to the Final Four, before losing to Gonzaga by 3 pts.

    The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Hopefully our current roster is paying attention, with all of the position coach changes we have had this offseason.

    The 2025 group over the potential 2026 group, because the 2025 group has signed and is on campus. As Mack Brown use to say, worry about the recruits you have, not the ones you don’t have or the ones that got away.

    Maybe A&M had to compromise after pressing Adidas for more money for the deal, by agreeing to remove the “exes A&M” from the front of the jersey.

    Born in Tulsa OK. =>> moved around growing up due to Dad’s job (Seoul Korea, Washington DC area, LA area, back to Tulsa). Graduated from Jenks High School (school has sent 1-2 players to UT over the years, Bryan Pickryl was one). After attending UT, moved to Houston. Currently live in Clear Lake area.
