    So are there any pushing kids to go to a college that has Under Armour as a sports sponsor?

    How does IMG make money as a school? The cost to go there is crazy, but most of their football and basketball kids must be on scholarship? It's only for sports, so I'm guessing it makes it money with all the golf, tennis, baseball and volleyball kids? Still, with all the coaching required, seems they have to spend a lot of money with it's infrastructure to make it worth while for a kid to go there. How do they recruit kids?

    After watching the draft, Quinn would have been a first round draft pick at quarterback this year. In my opinion he would have been selected ahead of Bo Nick's in the 1st round? Very odd there were no quarterbacks selected between the first round and the fifth round. So the NFL teams jumped on the quarterbacks early and often in the first round. Thank goodness he's coming back for a third year, but he would have been a first rounder this year for sure. My opinion anyway.

    Not sure he slid, Buff. always was the team that wanted him. The move by Buff to move down one spot to the 2nd round was a dick move IMO. Unless they talked with his agent and will still pay him 1st round money, just sucks on their part.

    Why would Carolina move up one spot into the 1st round? Cost them more money and they still would have the same player second round.

    Buffalo just screwed AD Mitchell by moving down. They will pick him 1st player 2nd round. Disappointing for this kid.

    Why leave TCU for Colorado, it's a wash? LSU should be the concern.

    Even the walk on WR had a great day, he looked like an All American. If I was the only one showing concern, that would be one thing, but I'm not. Name one DB that had a good game? If you know the plays, then you should be able to at least stay close to the receiver, they were beat by 10 yards. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

    Fall Creek in Driftwood Texas. I don't know if they have a restaurant or if it's only a wine tasting facility.

    I would say Russell because of size? 6'2 vs 5'11 for pros, but college they can both play.

    A lot of times I get frustrated because I don't think Texas pushes hard enough for Big Time players early, this is one time I kind of wonder if they didn't push for Lacey early would he still be the quarterback at the top of their board, or would it be Russell? I like them both, but I love Russell size. Also, if you took each quarterback and put them on the other's team what kind of numbers would they have put up? They both threw to Big Time receivers, so that's kind of a wash. But we know the talent level that Duncanville plays against versus I'm not sure about Lacey's team and what he has to go against?

    I think Russell would sign today if Texas would push.

    My last point, could there be some type of philosophy issue between how the corner backs are coach versus how the safeties are coached? I remember Texas brought in a defensive back analyst for a week and then he got an NFL job I believe? I'm hope I'm completely wrong on all of this, and y'all can come back and crush me halfway through the season when they are the best group on the team.

    I hope so, this is year 4 for all the coaches, and to see the same issues at DB is concerning. You know what they say, keep doing the same thing over and over and get the same results? DT looked better than expected, good coaching? DBs looked worse than expected?? Again, scheme, coaching or talent?

    Remember in a spring game the defense should have an advantage because they have seen these plays for two and a half weeks now.

    It's not that the WR and QBs had a good day, but it is how open the WR were! Blowing coverage on plays you see everyday is an issue. It's not just one guy, it was a lot of guys. Manny M had a good game, but name a second DB that had a good game?

    So I know we have talent at defensive back, but we're still seeing the same issues on big play problems. So is it the defensive scheme that is allowing this to happen, individual defensive back coaches that philosophy teaching is an issue, or is it really talent? What ever it is it must get fix.

    Does Silas Bolden already count as a scholarship player? Or will Texas need to make sure they have another kid leave the program for his scholarship?
