  1. I never said we can't or wouldn't upgrade the receiver room. I'm saying it isn't and shouldn't be a priority. You will/should upgrade that room solely with experience from existing players and the right fit with portal guys. That room didn't get upgraded from the previous season and it still isn't a glaring problem. The OL and an early season Arch was/is the problem. Arch was fixed. The OL with 4 new starters this season, mostly inexperienced, and a RB room that left a lot to be desired and not really a fit for the scheme are the biggest issues on the offense. Flashy, expensive wide receivers will do little to help the offense if you don't address the other problems by priority.
  2. Agree and posted this exact sentiment.
  3. You or I clearly can't fix their line of thinking even when the obvious is on film all freaking year.
  4. We agree on OL, not receiver.
  5. And I say WR doesn't need to be upgraded as clearly as I typed it. Did you read that?
  6. You get more production from the TE position as we had in years past I would say we are fine with who we have at WR. You give a good QB time to throw the ball, he will find an open receiver. Job#1 is give the QB time by having a good OL and running game threat. This isn't complicated.
  7. You need an upright QB with time to throw the ball to them. Take care of the OL and RB room and if there is money left over for a WR, I'm all for it as long as he isn't a cancer. Overpaying for a WR is dangerous.
  8. Their jobs as wide receivers is to catch the ball, not drop it. They deserve every bit of criticism they get.
  9. They were literally the most reliable ball catchers on the team. We desperately need RBs, LBs and IOL before we even sniff a WR.
  10. Gideon got the Job here the first time because of a recommendation from Muschamp. Don't underestimate that connection.
  11. And yet here you are, replying.
  12. You called him overrated. I provided facts supporting the fact that he was statistically better than Joe Borrow at the same points in their career. I told you to be careful on the "overrated" comment. I never claimed or even insinuated he would make a leap like Borrow did. I do expect him to be formidable at LSU because the talent and coach always produce that. This isn't complicated. When or if he goes to LSU and balls out, come back and get your helping of crow and try to leave your emotions out of it.
  13. LOL, I had just clipped the sam exact thing.
