  1. Any indications on Derrick Williams and his future here? Is he a candidate to run back home and go to LSU??
  2. Dude will end up between 290-300... probably a top 3 round type pick. His hands are good already... he just has to get better coming off the ball and not relying on his athletic abilities to bail him out. Is he an early enrollee?
  3. There is one linebacker/edge, in particular, I have my singular focus on. To have them both... for the 26 season.. would be epic. We're in wait and see mode with these coaching hires, for sure. Remember, guys wanna win and maximize their draft slots... and finishing 2nd place, like Jeff Howe loves to point out, definitely is a major factor around this time. Nobody has mentioned him yet, btw....
  4. With the A&M game looming... I thought this would be an appropriate time to get some good ol wishes in. I've been scouring social media of a few major players on schools with major coaching changes... and I'm seeing some Longhorns of note in the comments section. I'm also seeing a lot of those particular players on those same Longhorns posts. I also see the players teammates indicating that they seem to be a bit nervous.. like its possible they may leave! Drop who you want in the portal here. I got a major name... but I'm waiting to see who's on the same page. 🤘🏿🔥🔥🔥
  5. After selecting you choice, what did you do next, just leave the page?
  6. Make it the last time, Sark. F what they talking about. We are ungrateful here. Texas was the envy of the cfb world 4 months ago. We haven't had a real shot at such lofty expectations that could be validated until he showed up. Who's better for us... RIGHT NOW... out there? Wtf wants to follow Sark and wth he's done at TEXAS in the last 5 years? Ya'll forgot how bad Herman and LongFinger were? Crazy asf! I said it last year with the 💩ing on Quinn... while he lost his security blanket, all world RB, 3 NFL starting calibur receivers, and a NFL starting calibur TE. We're young. Wingo is a shining example of exactly what's wrong. He knows the responsibility he's supposed to carry in this offense. He understands what's expected of him. Everyone back home has been telling co-workers and friends he's about to blow... and he's pressing and crumbling under the weight of expectations, instead of playing the game he loves, with love, passion, and pure unadulterated joy. Hard to do with all these grown ass fans and social media scrutinizing your every move. They will be better from this.. as a whole. Yes, anytime things don't go as planned, changes are needed and evaluations will be had, but Coach Stout used to tell us.. nothing is as good as it seems.. when we won.. and nothing is as bad as it seems... when we lost. It was what we did with the next opportunity... that was all that mattered. 🤘🏿
  7. PREACH!! We all saw Colin Simmons get held multiple times and no flag. Refs don't wanna face Kirby after flagging his team. We can see the 💩 every week.. CBS and ABC do a good job of focusing on his smug ass every game. This is cool.. I'm good with the bulletin board material. Alabama whooped their asses for a good while..then they got tired of it. These comments he made... should be the gunpowder in the dog food for this group. I think we'll get what we all want in 2026... but maybe, just maybe, they'll surprise us and fight like hell these next 2 weeks...? Either way... keep it up, Kirby...
  8. Kirby is going to get his. This is what Texas needs. Georgia took multiple ass whoopings from Bama until they got sick and tired of it. After these 3 beatings... and however this team finishes, we will see the real CULTURE in 2026. I think you'll have a bunch of "kids" that will be motivated to kick ass. I like it... keep it up. When it comes around... we will rub his nose in it.
  9. I'm seeing reports of former Longhorn DB Kris Boyd having been shot in New York. It's my understanding he was in critical condition in the latest report. Let's band together and help in any way we can. Pray for his family...and for him to pull through.🤘🏿❤️
  10. The greatest value in this community is how we come together when the orange horn signal goes up for help!! Even in times like these, the human spirit and love for each other is undeniable. 🤘🏿 and we all pray he continues on a healthy path.
  11. I agree.. but I don't think Kyle Flood or anyone on that staff is above reproach. All of the individuals are accepting of criticism and that's evident by the results we've attained as a team, whether it be wins or drafted talent in the NFL. Even those that were picked up as free agents are a sign of the development process here at Texas. Again... it kinda reminds me of a high school team. We always had 1 big non district game that we looked at over the summer, and by the time district started, we had an idea of what we wanted to get done and who would do what. Sark's team is young and a lot of these guys are learning what it takes. We just have to be patient and enjoy this process.
  12. Who is flawless? Show me....
  13. I said this in an earlier post but it's awesome that this article is available. If this is the worst we'll see, we're good. Lagway is an immense talent himself, and he threw 5 ints last week. People are ready to give up on him are sadly mistaken, too. These are young quarterbacks in the NIL era... and we're talking maybe as big of a group of talents at that position than there has been in awhile. All of these guys feel the pressures to perform for major fan bases, and with the NIL element involved, things are magnified and think about it, who do you go to for advice on how to navigate it, or even how to perform under such conditions? Chill Horns... Arch will be OK.
  14. For the life of me... I'll never understand why won't DB's whip their head around when trailing a WR. DB's always panic when they get beat and just try to catch up and hit the WR, never finding the football. Hell, Gilbeaux possibly could've batted it down or intercepted it had he got his head around. I think we see Kobe Black or Kade Phillips take that job by season's end. Just a hunch... but I've never been confident in him out there.
