  1. Listen, I know a lot of you don't believe Monshun Sales and Easton Royal would both be in the same class... but considering the fact that we expect Wingo and Coleman to be gone, not to mention Arch and a litany of others, there would be ample NIL there for both. Anytime a recruit seeks out contact, your ears perk up. If they do get on campus at the same time, I could see the staff and Wingo/Coleman pitching what they have now as a precursor to what they could be together. Sure.. it's a stretch to think this kid would leave the midwest.. especially with Ohio St. in the fold, but if the team reaches the heights we all hope for and expect, I think it becomes a true possibility. Can we fend off LSU and Ohio St. for the 2 best wr's in the country?
  2. I'm starting college at 47 years young this fall.. and while I'll be going after my undergrad studies here in the metroplex, the goal is to finish up in Austin. I wanted to play basketball at UT.. a dream I never realized.. but to get a degree from there would mean everything.. for guys just like him. 🀘🏿
  3. Not really much can describe this clip... except for... I'm proud to be a Longhorn... thru and thru. 🀘🏿 https://www.threads.com/@doseofsportsdaily/post/DXGPp9jjdAA?xmt=AQF0q2j65xJJD5fuPXd_9WYqr2am5pKKk3p0gY7jkaJ3hNDOYNkPzJbMpOPdfEXmrTiV6iI&slof=1
  4. I hope so. Bro would end up spending his 1st 2 years in the NBA being shipped back and forth from the end of somebody's bench to the D league and the whole time... he will be kicking himself in the ass because he could've been getting top notch NIL and chilling in Austin with an absolute SQUAD!
  5. Cam probably wanted way more than he was worth. Yeah.. great shot kid.. but you couldn't dribble a spider drill if your life depended on it. He was a liability on O unless he was screening or shooting and his defense was up and down. His game would have to grow exponentially for me to be worried about him hitting the portal. That's just me though. Not a big loss to me.
  6. I think it's a lot of low key jealousy and clicks type situation, in a lot of places. This is also the NIL era, and girls have the same motivations as the guys, in regards to, earning potential and minutes. Vic signed a helluva class and I guarantee you these ladies were looking over their shoulders a bit. Maybe some girls felt Maddy got too much of the shine and not enough of the blame until she had the bad game...maybe the exit meetings didn't go so well, who knows. What I do know is.... this responsibility, representing the University of Texas, will not be bestowed upon the weak or timid. 🀘🏿πŸ”₯✊🏿
  7. Punch can ball... just needs to hut thr weights. His pace and effort and shooting ability would complement Matais and also wouldn't leave Matais and the only inside presence on defense or the offensive/defensive boards. I like it, if it happens. @Gerry Hamilton... any thoughts on the fit? Does he work with Coach Miller and more importantly, does he fit with Matais, in your opinion?
  8. Whether it was the knee or not getting along with Coach Akina, who cares. Derrick Williams is a playmaker and I think having Coach Gideon back is more valuable than we realize. With Muschamp in tow, the secondary can finally be aggressive and attack the football, attack offenses and put themselves in more favorable situations. Here's one more thing to consider. These guys actually CHOSE each other. Think about it... in the transfer portal era, either being recruited by Texas, or being on the roster and having a shot at the portal, you're a commodity. There's not a school in the country that won't either recruit the kids Texas is after, or take one of the kids off our roster, thru the portal. In saying that, this 2026 team, by Sark's account, not just mine, is already closer than the 2025 squad. There is certainty here, and a sense of purpose and finality with this team that shouldn't go unnoticed. Unfinished business, dreams and goals are lined up... and we're seeing a motivated team come together over spring. Super excited to get started!! 🀘🏿πŸ”₯
  9. Blame @CJ Vogel.. his tweets are so popular, he pissed Jonah off and Schloss had to make a statement..🀣🀣🀘🏿
  10. Wanted to make a note that longtime media figure and former Cowboys scout Bryan Broadus lost his mom yesterday. She was a huge Longhorn fan and Broadus' son attends the university. He always puts a good word out to his father and anyone else in the business about the kids on the 40. I'm posting his Tweet here and I would hope we could at least show a LadyHorn some respect and love. We only get one... hug everyone... love everyone.. enjoy every moment. 🀘🏿
  11. That is going to be an epic recruitment.
  12. Smh... if that's what a 4 star looks like.... I was definitely a 2.7 to 3.2 star..πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ! WTF ARE THEY FEEDING THESE KIDS!!!? He looks like he took over Latimer's locker! 🀣🀣🀣 Muschamp... keep cooking OG!!
  13. I agree. Nothing like seeing Kendrick Perkins.. or Shaq, all in one place, like you could then. Some things don't need to be changed.
  14. When Carmelo posted his feelings with an emoji on Twitter, and that horrible press conference trying to explain not playing him, I knew Autry was doomed. They never committed to a style of play. Seems like there was a war between the upperclassmen and the young guys and he couldn't bridge the gap.
