  1. He did try to go deep in his early days when he couldn't read worth a crap. Didn't say he had a strong arm.. I said he tried to strong arm stuff. There's a difference. Anyhow.. enjoy your Sunday..πŸ€˜πŸΏπŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ
  2. I'm 47... and I definitely remember the 1st time I saw Sark at BYU. Strong armed.. wanted to scramble to throw.. and wasn't reading crap..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. The long ball was his bail out. Crazy how hard is is on qb's now. Here's the cool part about it all. When Sark realized how to distribute the ball to who, and where, and when... he had his best season. All of the qb's he's laid hands on over his time in the sport, have grown the same way. Look at history.. all of the great winners understand that sometimes, a qb's best play, is a handoff. Marino was otherworldly... but Brady is the 🐐. Brady killed teams with dump-offs. Arch can lead us... but in the end, I think he and Sark have to learn that handing it off may get the monkey off of their "backs".
  3. Good grief!!! This isn't about Brendan Sorsby's "best interests"... gimme a break! It's in the best interest of Texas Tech and having access to the qb you paid 6 million dollars for, and winning back to back Big 12 championships... that's what it's about. So be damned the integrity and fabric of competition, Cody wants another trophy!! Big crock of πŸ’© and any judge with common sense and dignity wouldn't allow it to rest on their bench. I'm sure they'll find one to their liking.. seems to be a lot of those available for purchase... Supreme Court on down. If Sorsby plays, the game dies, period.
  4. Coach Shipley looked like his was in a crossfaced crippler this morning... but he said what needed to be said without saying it. When Tech recruits kids, how can they talk about accountability and doing the right thing, when they'll sacrifice morality and the sanctity of the game, and do thr opposite because it's in their favor? If I was the kid, the obvious response would be, by your example, I should do the same thing when it comes to the portal, or gambling, if it's in my favor??!
  5. Damn you, Gerry! Me and my fiancee are on the phone with Virgin Cruises... on hold.. and they are Yacht Rocking the hell outta us!! It's ALL your fault man!! πŸ’ͺ🏾🀘🏿!!

  6. Can't wait to embarrass Ohio πŸ’©
  7. Hell.. I'd give TCU and SMU way more respect than dusty ass Tech. Keep jumping from the top rope on SW Tennessee Tech so you can make the CFP... AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE.. because Brett DorkMark says so...🀣🀣🀘🏿
  8. Henry Ruggs was over 100 too... but he was drinking. Bro was full of smk n had vapes... and hit no one.
  9. I didn't say he didn't deserve the citation. I'm saying the Athens police department has a HISTORY with Georgia football players. What that means is.. they are hyper sensitive to their actions... especially after the accident. The fact that he likes to smoke is just a death nail. You think GSP doesn't get pissed when they see one of these 100k Scats running thru traffic and they know how he got it...🀣.
  10. Bro had some smoke and some vapes... smh. Amerikkka is so lame. You'll allow somebody to get drunk.. because you can control the sale and distribution. No one has ever passed away due to Marijuana. These kids gotta make better choices. Go to Oregon or USC or somewhere where you can consume legally, especially if you're young, black, and wanna drive a nice car in the south. Sorry guys, there are more angles to these types of issues than ya'll care to discuss.. and I get that.
  11. Wow... he's 197!!? He legit is going to find a way to make an impact this season if he can defend at this level and be strong with the ball. This is my favorite out of the kids we got this year. I know Goosby is that guy... but Joe's game is tough.
  12. Gerry... MY MAN!! I've been buried in his highlights since we latched onto him. Joe can go... he just needs to get stronger.
  13. Gotta consider he may want to stay on the west coast. The "environment" here, outside of football, doesn't really vibe with a West Coast upbringing, IMO. I understand the opportunity available at UT... but if I grew up out there, I wouldn't wanna leave for Texas either, tbh.πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ Either way... we'll get the guys we need.
  14. Mo money.. mo problems. Sure.. it adds to the coffers of the TV guys and the NCAA... but the product will be πŸŸ¦πŸ•πŸ’©... not the 🟦πŸͺ„ the tournament has always been. The impact of NIL and marketing is also behind this. NCAA basketball video game is on it's way back, as well. It's all connected.
  15. I'm thinking about how these visits play out when it comes to the portal. If and when it doesn't work out at USC.... guess who'll be sitting in the cat bird's seat? Definitely want him in the class, but this reminds me of Bobby's "long game" quote he always references when we talk about recruiting.
  16. We hate that you hate Coach Flood being on the staff..πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€¦πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’©
  17. Sneaky good... alot faster than what you'd expect. What side do you see him playing on in college?
  18. Great idea... with such a talented roster. His connections will get more of the undrafted guys into NFL training camps. Having a guy who knows exactly what the NFL front offices operate can only help as we continue to move more towards the NFL model. So many good things should come from this.🀘🏿
  19. If you guys aren't subbed to The Stampede, you better get in gear, as Coach Shipley would say..🀣🀣. They had a great sit down with Jordan Shipley. First interview since the accident... just an awesome interview and super inspiring. Shout out to Coach Brown and VY and the whole team over there. Prayer works... and when the worst happens, the best of us always come out. Again... no mater what differences we may have... we know how to come together for each other. 🀘🏿
  20. Sorry guys... but I gotta say it. Carson.... MFKN ....TINNEY!!! BOOM!!!🀘🏿
  21. That's my underlying thought... the floor guys. How would they look at being in that same WR class? I think what happens in 2026 has a direct affect on it all. If you can't make good on the concept, guys will seek to be the guy somewhere rather than team up. That Bama squad that Sark OC'd... the old USC squads... that's what he's trying to replicate here and these classes he's been able to stack should tell everyone that. If these kids are smart, they'll jump in. The man has been apart of 2 of the greatest dynasties in college football.
  22. Listen, I know a lot of you don't believe Monshun Sales and Easton Royal would both be in the same class... but considering the fact that we expect Wingo and Coleman to be gone, not to mention Arch and a litany of others, there would be ample NIL there for both. Anytime a recruit seeks out contact, your ears perk up. If they do get on campus at the same time, I could see the staff and Wingo/Coleman pitching what they have now as a precursor to what they could be together. Sure.. it's a stretch to think this kid would leave the midwest.. especially with Ohio St. in the fold, but if the team reaches the heights we all hope for and expect, I think it becomes a true possibility. Can we fend off LSU and Ohio St. for the 2 best wr's in the country?
  23. I'm starting college at 47 years young this fall.. and while I'll be going after my undergrad studies here in the metroplex, the goal is to finish up in Austin. I wanted to play basketball at UT.. a dream I never realized.. but to get a degree from there would mean everything.. for guys just like him. 🀘🏿
