  1. One is retiring and the other is stepping down. Retiring presumably means he's done coaching.
  2. jaden baugh get ready to learn texas buddy
  3. The Matthew Golden route of ball out against us and we come after you in the portal
  4. Didn't say he was retiring. Smells like he wasn't a fan of the private equity deal.
  5. he tried to leave but got flagged for holding
  6. Deboer would be crazy to leave Bama, I get it's an intense place to work but Michigan would be orders of magnitude harder of a job IMO
  7. Were they even paying Moore all that much? I wonder who they could get this late into the coaching carousel.
  8. We should schedule Rice every year and get some more cred for playing yet another "rival". Oh and convince them to move their home games to NRG.
  9. Play your big out of conference games in the playoff, not the first week or two of the year. Please. Notre Dame gotta go, more ASU-level P4 opponents. I also have season tickets, I don't care about these big games on the hottest day of the year hahah
  10. Don't get why he'd portal away? Thought he had a decent year
  11. I'd prefer playing USC
  12. Also, what are we rewarding when the 118th (JMU), 125th (North Texas) strength of schedules are getting in the CFP, lol.
  13. I keep seeing people pointing to the fact that the gators have 4 wins and that looks bad. Are we forgetting Florida has the 2nd hardest schedule in the nation? I know Billy was fired but if that team is remotely healthy they are probably favored against all but 1 big 12 team.
  14. I still think they'd throw Alabama in, atleast in the past they viewed the conference championship game as extra credit and aren't gonna ding them very hard. Then, again if they don't view the Ohio State game as extra credit ADs everywhere are gonna reevaluate those big OOC games.
  15. I just watched Bobby’s talk about this last night. It does bother me that these reports appear to be complete BS. I am not a lawyer but if people are just making stuff up, could Texas sue them for libel? This will cost Texas millions in NIL to keep players around if they think Sark is leaving. Then again, it’s ESPN. Who’s gonna bite the hand that feeds.
  16. Last night's victory was the most unlikely W in at least a decade for the Longhorns. Data from collegefootballdata showed the horns with a brief 0.0% chance of winning when the roughing the passer was called on 4th down in the 4th quarter. Some other fun games to relive here including that unlikely comeback against tech in 2020.
  17. Widest TOP gap in a win since (at least) 2004. This was a wider TOP margin than the Peach Bowl last year. Also against Power 4 competition since 2004, the Kentucky game was: Least yards in a victory (179) Fewest number of first downs in a victory (8)
  18. Fewest yards allowed in a loss since 2011. Only the 2nd fewest in a L since 2004. Frustrating game.
  19. Says something about his character if he's not even going to bother apologizing. Why even bother offering after this? Also, if he didn't know peanuts "could kill" why is he putting them in his teammates locker before a game where he could get sick and not play? Sounds like a real good teammate. If your bar for someone to be a Texas Longhorn is that he wasn't charged with a crime, then your bar is way too low. - Longhorn with a peanut allergy
