  1. And I’m betting his lawyer is telling him to keep his mouth shut until a deal is cut. No way this goes to trial.
  2. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m pretty comfortable being on the other side of whatever Cody Campbell wants.
  3. I don’t know. What could Moore possibly say that would change the narrative?
  4. I would have thought Georgia’s NIL program would have kept these guys clothed and fed.
  5. UM friend texted this last night. Apparently they did an investigation and both Moore and his side piece denied everything and there was no corroborating evidence. Case closed, but AD told Moore to reassign her to a different job to take the spotlight away. Moore inexplicably fired her, she retaliated by providing receipts.
  6. And the pros? I think NE, KC and SF are pretty good. Point is, there’s no one chain of command, either in college or the NFL.
  7. Depends on the reporting chain regardless of pro or college. Vrabel, Reid, Shanahan, et al, have the GMs report to them. Just like Cal, Stanford, OU the GM is either the co-report or supervisor of the coach.
  8. The irony of all this is PE deals go wrong when the overpay, not underpay.
  9. You do realize PE primarily invests in mature industries where operational changes have the chance to drive returns. PE is not VC.
  10. We’ll see. But in my mind they should, especially if some O line opts out.
  11. Would you really want Arch to go 4 quarters if Campbell and perhaps Goosby and Wisner aren’t playing? I don’t think losing to Wash in 2022 hurt us in the least. We came back rather nicely the following year.
  12. I think every team has a right to determine whether going to a bowl is the right thing to do. ND looks to have a lot of starters who’ll be opting out anyway. Can’t blame them for not wanting to throw out a whole bunch of greenhorns into a bowl game. Personally I think Texas should take a hybrid approach. Take advantage of the 15 practices. No doubt several departing starters will opt out. Protect folks like Arch, CJ and Wisner (if he stays) and limit their game reps. Play the hell out of the kids starting in the 2nd quarter.
  13. If they’re both back Arch should be fine. If not, we should think twice.
  14. Campbell and perhaps Goosby if he goes.
