  1. Agree. It's the school that was at the beginnings of Johnny Majors and Earle Bruce's careers. MC is also the all-time winningest coach in that school's history. He may not win a national championship, but if he stays at ISU and wins a conference championship or somehow gets into the playoffs, he might have a statue of himself on that campus someday.
  2. I don't think the window has completely closed and if it has, I believe it could open again for him...unless their program takes a nosedive or he pulls a Tom Herman. Let's say Cignetti leaves. I can see MC being a candidate at IU. I could see him as a candidate for Wisky if they decide to make a change. I see him more as a fit as a Big Ten coach. I don't see him fitting at an SEC school as much, except maybe Mizzou and OU. And maybe Kentucky. Maybe South Carolina.
  3. Agree. Did you see the Bama gym? It looks like they were playing on a high school gymnasium. SMU has a nice facility.
  4. They've put lots of guys in the NFL under his term. They are annually a top 25 team. They beat Iowa and beat ranked teams from time-to-time. I like the way their staff coaches and I like their culture...even if it did ruffle our feathers (the truth hurts sometimes). What does whether or not he stays at ISU or whether or not he receives/accepts an offer from other schools have to do with me disagreeing with you calling him a jag?
  5. Disagree. I like Campbell a lot. I would send my son to play for him.
  6. Depending on point of view, this could be good...or it could be bad...or some of both...
  7. The LB crashed himself into the inside (not sure why, unless it was kind of delayed stunt), but that definitely gave Goosy the leverage to just road grade leaving the entire left side open for Arch to make another hard angle pass.
  8. The chip block putting the DL on one knee was huge to this play. IMO, the key to play being successful...along with Arch's ability to make that difficult pass angle.
  9. the time-out clap was spot on...nice work...
  10. I didn’t know. Not sure how I got it in my head Neuheisal Junior was the IHC. Thanks for setting me straight
  11. Thank you for the updates!
  12. Any chance UCLA takes interim tag off of Neuheisal?
