    You're probably right, but I don't remember K-state trying to test the top against us last year much, and he seems to try to hit multiple shots a game this season. As to why, different story I suppose.

    He's more willing to take deep shots this season. That could be due to the injuries at RB, and an increase in oline talent relative to k-state that makes him comfortable with more protection. He's also running heavy sets fairly often, I saw a few 13 personnel snaps vs auburn I believe.

    28-17. Tied going into the second half but our depth carries the day. Texas sacks Hawkins 4+ times, but we also give up 2 turnovers.

    For most of my life the answer was yes. Now that affirmative action is dead and college admissions is a supreme court issue, that might change in the next few years if not already. Who knows.

    Not to rain on the excitement, but I'm personally not going to use the b-word until we go a full season without losing to a team we're clearly better than. Last year was great but we came out sloppy with a stinker of a first quarter against a bad OU team. Fingers crossed, knock on wood!

    FSU was running a similar experiment to Colorado, they were just much quieter about it. This is a team of mercenaries, it worked last year and looks like it won't this year.
