You're probably right, but I don't remember K-state trying to test the top against us last year much, and he seems to try to hit multiple shots a game this season. As to why, different story I suppose.

He's more willing to take deep shots this season. That could be due to the injuries at RB, and an increase in oline talent relative to k-state that makes him comfortable with more protection. He's also running heavy sets fairly often, I saw a few 13 personnel snaps vs auburn I believe.
