  1. I know. I’m just saying you can’t blame the reliever when he inherits bases loaded with 1 out. The damage was largely done prior to Burns coming in.
  2. I would mainly blame leaving the starter in 3 batters too long for this situation.
  3. Aka he just watched Tennessee and Mississippi State average 15 meaningless pick off attempts per game.
  4. Can you do Monsour or Larson next? You’ve fixed Tinney and Borba.
  5. Good things usually happen when you abandon ship on something or someone.
  6. Congrats, you’ve felt what every other team has felt at some point this year outside of UCLA.
  7. Then guys like Cozart will be throwing 3 days in a row. You do things in the postseason you don’t normally do during the regular season or a Tuesday game against UTSA.
  8. That isn’t my point. We also never made it through the losers bracket in Omaha in 2011, 2014, 2018, 2021 and 2022. It’s the losers bracket for a reason. It’s designed to where teams don’t usually make it out alive. And that goes for all teams.
  9. Teams use the same 5-6 pitchers the entire postseason. Back to back games, 3 days in a row, all of it: So no, they won’t be needed.
  10. Amazing we went from an overrated team with no hope to winning a top 10 series in two hours 🙂
  11. What about all the close wins they closed out? We are 34-10. There are going to be blown leads in a 55 game season. It’s college baseball.
