  1. The way Sark has curated this offense under QE, there almost has to be perfection for it to be successful. Timing is everything. Assignments/blocking has to be perfect. It's just very difficult to maintain that, particularly when facing elite talent and defenses. It really hurts the offense when on 3rd and 2, you know your QB is not gonna get the first with his legs if a pass play breaks down.
  2. Paragraphs are your friend.
  3. Thanks for the updates! Appreciate it.
  4. I absolutely love it. UGA has been the standard in football for the last 6-7 years but these guys are SHOOK. "A United Texas is a reckoning", indeed.
  5. We're gonna lose multiple guys to the portal every year. Consider it a good sign when it's players like Bledsoe, who was passed up and is looking for PT somewhere else. I wish him all the best.
  6. Impressive work by Hicks. Not sure what it's like at other programs, but I absolutely love how many early enrollees we are getting under Sark. It's a HUGE advantage.
  7. Yep, incredible coverage yesterday. We are entering an epic era of Texas football, and OTF is meeting the moment on a daily basis. Thanks and Hook'em!
  8. Have you tried to ManScape with Gooders on? It's takes a while.
  9. SIAP, but I found this fascinating @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel I just looked at last years's boxscore, and only 3 skill position players that recorded an offensive stat in 2023 Texas-OU game are playing this Saturday: Quinn Ewers, Gunnar Helm, and Gavin Sawchuck. Crazy!

  11. One thing that has never changed: fans lose their absolute f-ing minds in these situations. Pessimists with no insider info convinced he's going to Oregon, optimists with no insider info confidently predicting Texas. LMAO. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want Moore to pick Texas tonight. We should not lose this battle. But everyone...
  12. Yes, he'll actually need to play in meaningful conference games to really know where he stands. Some trash OOC games are doing a lot of heavy lifting for his stats so far. That said, Ewers will need another big leap this year to get drafted in the 1st round IMO.
  13. Every accusation is a confession.
  14. "It's done" means something has been done. "Contract signed" means someone has signed a contract. Does that sound like guessing? lol
  15. I'm admittedly biased, but I think CJ's impact in Houston and how quickly the franchise has turned around makes these other teams a little more desperate to strike gold with a QB in this draft.
  16. Yeah, but also the most important result of the Spring Game is staying healthy, which is an advantage for offenses. I have no doubt that the defense in general wasn't going at it 100% yesterday. This was nothing more than an exhibition for the fans, and it was a great success IMO.
  17. Also want to add that the most impressive part of Arch's performance yesterday was the rhythm he played with. His internal clock and timing was impressive. And so important in Sark's offense.
  18. Right. Also, "if his name wasn't Manning" blah blah blah. Yes, being a MANNING matters. We're all taking that into account when projecting his greatness. Growing up in that family, with the technical and mental preparation he's been exposed to his entire life, is a massive edge.
  19. Probably the right move, but Adam Silver acting all high and mighty about this is laughable considering how much the NBA has attached itself to legal gambling sites.
  20. Assuming significant NIL money would need to be involved, I don't see why it's worth trying to bring him here.
  21. Fastest I've ever paid for a UT sports subscription. Love what y'all are doing at OTF.
  22. Great get! I love Ricky. Dude was ahead of his time when it came to trying to manage his mental health. All the criticism he received back then would be met with more admiration today. Would love to have him closer/more involved with the program.
  23. Love the standard these players set at the combine for the young guys moving forward. WRU incoming.
