  1. We got Mosely and from all reports the coaches love him. He's been hurt/limited. Let the season play out and let go of the recency bias.
  2. With the way the schedule plays out this year, it's completely understandable to shrink your WR rotation when you open up at Ohio State. Everyone should have had zero expectations for the freshmen in a game of that magnitude. The freshman should definitely get plenty of reps the next 3 weeks. Unless you've heard rumblings from the inside, I see no reason to be concerned.
  3. Where is all the WR hate coming from? Arch couldn't make simple throws and OSU secondary is excellent. Let them actually have some opportunities to make plays. Good grief.
  4. @Gerry Hamilton Do we have any idea what the game day set up is with Sark/Milwee/assistants? Milwee is in the booth, correct? Do we know who is communicating with Arch/QBs on the sidelines?
  5. It was such a shocking and disappointing performance, and IMO it feels like he was just mentally overwhelmed throughout. Clearly he needs a lot more reps. After initially being pissed about our 3 non-conference home game schedule vs. scrubs coming up, it's probably just what the doctor ordered for Arch. I have no doubt he will learn a lot from this one and get better in a hurry.
  6. Maybe staff thinks Hutson/Robertson/Campbell is the best interior trio and are trying Neto at LT to see how he responds?
  7. Tyanthony Smith flashed last year. We are absolutely loaded at LB.
  8. I'm guessing Terry is a 3 years and off to the NFL player. Whichever position that gets him on the field the quickest is good for him and good for us.
  9. Yeah, if people thought Texas fans were rough on Quinn... The Jets might be the last team I'd want him to get drafted by.
  10. Can't believe I'm saying this as a born and raised Houstonian, but I actually feel sorry for Dallas fans. This trade was practically a criminal act.
  11. IMO - Needs to be drafted by coach/team that fully believe in him (true for everyone though, basically) - He needs to add good weight to withstand hits in the NFL - Needs to obsessively work on all the fundamentals of a drop back QB. Footwork, timing, reads, processing quickly, etc. Ditch the desired Mahomes style of play, it won't work for him. Be more like Drew Brees. - Be patient and take the 1-2 years as a backup to possibly turn into a starter.
  12. I haven't watched a game all year. Use to watch every Texas MBB game I could. I'm sure there are many other fans like me, it's just untenable to stick with RT barring a miracle run here.
  13. I'm not knocking Sark. It's a compliment.
  14. Agreed. Off the field, Sark is currently the best HC in college football IMO.
  15. I doubt we go after a RB1, but think we need to add someone to the room. Can see us taking 1 WR and 1 TE. 1-2 DTs, maybe a veteran CB similar to Gavin Holmes? And a PK?
  16. Butch Hadnot in football. Terrence Rencher in basketball.
  17. Embrace the expectations and hype. The kid is ready to roll.
  18. We had a franchise LT for the last 3 years. Dude carried himself like an All-Pro from Day 1 in Austin. Extremely impressive young man. No doubt he will shine in the NFL. Hook'em, Kelvin.
  19. The best things Sark has done at Texas are completely wiped away with the strictly on the field HC duties of the NFL. I also think his willingness and ability to adapt to new CFB landscape gives him a decided edge over other HCs and programs. And he knows it.
  20. It seems Tennessee is in a healthy place as a program, despite the terrible game last night. I'd be surprised if any studs hit the portal.
  21. Need to get rid of the state of Texas at midfield. *ducks*
  22. You said Quinn "did everything you could reasonably ask." I showed you a replay where it's reasonable to believe he can make a much better throw there, and it was a CRUCIAL play in the game.
