You’re right CJ. A little bit of scandal can get looked over when you win a championship, but when Harbaugh hightailed it they should have looked nation wide and not double down on someone that was heavily involved in the scandals. Michigan is a blue blood. You can get nearly anyone you want. You don’t promote someone from within with not alot of experience. They messed up right there when they could have righted the ship. Reminds me a little of Texas in a different kind of way. No scandals, but the coaching changes after Mack Brown set us back years. You usually have to give a guy at least 3 years so making the wrong coaching hire is hard to get out of for awhile. We had two back to back. Thanks Patterson. Basketball too.

I’m not opposed to kicking someone while they’re down. Anyone would love to kick Texas if they were down. We need to go in there and play.

Michigan knew of this is mid November and didn’t do anything until yesterday. I guess to save their recruiting class…..which did you really save it when alot of them leave? Or they were still in the playoff hunt back then and didn’t want to interfere with that. Either way it’s really bad to let someone stay on knowing what he’d done. It’s not looking good for the ole Blue.

Whether we are in or out this year, I am not for sure choosing a playoff bracket is ever going to be fair. Too much difference in the conferences and too much difference in the scheduling. Some teams have an extra hard game with a conference championship game and some don’t. Some don’t even have a conference. When it was 4 teams, 5,6,and 7 were arguing they should be in. I said if you go to 12, 13,14,and 15 will be arguing. You go to 16 or 18 and the same thing will happen. And alot of them have arguments. We’re just all different and it’s never going to be totally fair. Especially you have humans deciding it and the biases start coming in. Nobody that has ever been at Arkansas in any capacity is ever going to vote for Texas to be in. I guess play a weak schedule and win all the games and they can’t keep you out.

I’m not advocating for Texas Tech. I am saying that is what college football has become.

What a world. Texas Tech is a middle of the pack Big 12 team and in one year spend $28 million….probably more….and now the #4 team in the college playoffs and a first round bye. What a world.

Georgia is going to do Alabama the same way they do us. We need to gear all our efforts……recruiting, portal, coaching hires…..everything in being able to play with and beat Georgia. Them and Ohio State are the standard.
