But, at the same time cant the Big 12 suspend him if he was under investigation by law enforcement, that would stop all this. End of the day, Campbell should have backed away and cut his losses. How does one suspend a current athlete at Tech from betting on a sport the play. So, you are undercut the Athletic Director and Coach, so why should the players l8sten and how do you discipline. So messed up.

Because, Cotton Bowl is in Texas, that's a playoff game. I know, I am going to far. I just believe at the end of the day you bet on games you play in, you are done.     You are a idiot the guy speaking in these video. He didn't just bet on his team to win. There were hundreds of bets. If I am a teammate and he is allowed to play he fumbles or throws a interception, there will be doubts. These is sad they are having hearing. Tech should do what is best for the player, that is not play, get help a short stint in a recovery place will not help.

    These just makes the whole SMU being ban looks like why did they get banned. When you are having these happening all over college sports? Like Bobby been saying it is out of control. The one leading narrative is Cody Campbell, the one guy who doesnt care as long as he is leading. Politics should stay out of these, make a hard cap no matter where the money coming from. Police these cheap, Sec and big 10 take the league just create your own college league just like the NFL or AFL and be done with these mess.

    Exactly, just weird when law enforcement knew, so sorsby goes to rehab. You would think the other two universities had to know as well. I mean do you blindly sign a guy to that much money without questioning his character. Kinda of hard to hide 90k on a college campus. The staffs at the other two university and Tech had to know it was happening. What a freaking mess?

    My nephew played with Troy son. I went to a couple of the games. He is always teaching, no matter. Great guy, we need more of that teaching college and youngsters in travel baseball. Troy impressed me as a person. No matter he takes time out to teach.

    How did Tech not see this coming? You dont do background checks before sending 6 million to a kid. Then you double down, destroying a head coach and athletic director, in the process.     I just cant believe that Tech did not do due diligence in doing a background check on Sorsby. Bobby, Gerry and Coach Shipley brought up good points, a win at all cost. I mean if Tech would be quiet they would be able to sit a the adult table. But, nope they think they have leverage. I wonder if you uncover more info, how bad is really as far as them winning at all cost. Two things in two years will hurt them Sorsby and signing OJO. All that money to the wind.

    University of Houston, North Carolina and Georgetown, back in the mid 80s. Great college basketball. More excitement. Then got good at Texas with Penders and BMW attack. That was ultra fun basketball, Texas and Arkansas.
