  1. Out of state edge set to lock in Texas OV 2025 Ensworth (TN) defensive end Ethan Utley has circled June 21-23 for an official visit to Texas he confirmed with me early this morning – 247Sports first to report. Utley has an official visit set to Tennessee set for the week before, June 14-16. At the moment those are the only two official visits set in the month of June for the four-star edge. Interestingly, Utley also told me he will not be taking any unofficial visits in the spring ahead of his commitment date of March 28. View full news
  2. 2025 Ensworth (TN) edge prospect Ethan Utley tells me is waiting final confirmation with Sarkisian, but will officially visit June 21-23.
  3. Fun question. I will go with Mitchell by a hair and Murphy due to his athleticism.
  4. Fourth and final day from Indianapolis for the Combine. Texas has one offensive lineman participating in the activities today – Christian Jones. Height: 6-5 Weight: 305 Wingspan: 83 5/8 40-yard Dash: 5.05 10-yard split: 1.78 Vertical Jump: Broad Jump: *** Great opportunity for Jones to carry on the momentum started by previous Longhorns this weekend. Also, a bit of a surprise to see Jones weigh in at 305 pounds. The Reese's Senior Bowl listed Jones at 318 earlier this winter.

  9. 2026 Red Oak WR Braylon Robinson
  10. History has been made in Indianapolis! Texas WR Xavier Worthy has recorded the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL Combine history — 4.21 seconds. On the second of two attempts, Worthy broke the record previously held by Washington’s John Ross at 4.22. It was a tremendous afternoon for Longhorns at the Combine with AD Mitchell also clocking an impressive 4.34 official time in the group previously. RB Keilan Robinson recorded a 4.42 time of his own as well. But for Worthy and Texas, this record is a massive win on the marketing front. Recruits have already taken notice of the broken record and the narrative under Sarkisian’s staff has already begun changing in terms of development. Big W’s for Longhorns in Indy.
