    Benton (La.) QB Malachi Zeigler to Visit Texas Texas will host 2027 Benton, Louisiana QB Malachi Zeigler for an unofficial visit on June 1. Zeigler was most recently in Austin for the Elite 11 in March, but told me following the camp that he was still waiting to hear more from the Longhorn staff. In the month of May alone, Zeigler has picked up offers from Auburn, Wisconsin, Miami, Florida and Tennessee. Texas sits with just one offer out to an uncommitted 2027 quarterback at the moment. Zeigler will be one to monitor for the first weekend of June.

    The cover for EA Sports College Football 26 has been released. Reminder that QB Arch Manning and head coach Steve Sarkisian each declined the invitation to make the trip out to the Rose Bowl for the cover photo shoot. Texas is respresented with a fan and a sign in the upper left corners of the cover graphic. I think it is a very safe bet that the College Football 27 cover will feature Arch Manning in a big way.

    13 SEC schools make the cut for the NCAA Baseball Tournament in 2025. The only schools who didn’t: • South Carolina: worst season in program history • Missouri: 3–27 in SEC play • Texas A&M: preseason No. 1 team

    Look at how many schools from the Carolina’s made the tournament and then the season South Carolina had… they have to make a change.

    Competitive regional for the Horns in Austin. Kansas State and UTSA are really solid programs.
