  1. There is a good level of autonomy with specific positions, even if it isn't the specific position that is coached by the coach offering.
  2. Broadnax originally cut a final seven to USF, Louisville, Florida, Syracuse, Florida State, Auburn, Michigan.

  5. Texas corners coach Mark Orphey extended an offer late Monday evening to 2026 Louisville cornerback commit Jaydin Broadnax. The 6-foot-2.5-inch cornerback out of Boca Raton, Florida has been committed to Louisville since March 8. According to the consensus rankings, he is a top-30 cornerback in the country. Broadnax is up to 40 offers in his recruitment after the Horns officially jumped into the race Monday evening. Broadnax currently has four official visits set up for the month of June: OVs: May 30 – Auburn June 6 – Syracuse June 13 – Maryland June 20 – Louisville
  6. Let’s go Mavs!
  7. Of course! That’s my guy. Great to see him and chop it up with him this afternoon. They’ve got some studs on this team too, he’s done a heck of a job developing these young guys.
  8. If i had to place a school in pole position for Snell, it would probably be Texas A&M. The Aggies had three different position coaches stop by Waxahachie today, all of which made it a point to greet Snell during the school day. Early on, it appears A&M is setting the tone in this recruitment.
  9. Texas is staying hot in communication for JayQuan Snell. Orphey was by last week. The highlight of Snell’s trip to Austin was the sit down meeting with Steve Sarkisian as well.
  10. Meyer tells me he has heard from Texas every so often. Eager to see Milwee at practice again this week The Waxahachie QB is up to 6–feet and 170 pounds currently Meyer right now is #3 or #4 on the board for both schools per someone in the know of his recruitment.
  11. Marsh off the edge in run fits. IMG_9002.mov
  12. Chris Jackson will accompany AJ Milwee on Thursday for a second trip to Waxahachie. 26 WR Kohen Brown recently decommitted from USC. Texas keeping him warm for now, with no offer coming just yet. We will see if that changes on Thursday.
  13. 6–5 and 301 pounds. Tech just offered. Good looking cat.
  14. 2027 QB Jerry Meyer III sophomore tape; https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19665053/66c9f2bf922f7c8e9dbc6a11 Had one of the most prolific passing seasons in Nevada state history before moving to waxahachie last fall.
  15. 2027 Waxahachie EDGE Sedrick Marsh Jr. is blowing up. Just received A&M this morning. 6-5 edge rusher... Didn't see much varsity action last fall. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/23042299/6750dd599405b796319f7738

  17. First stop this week is at Wacahachie High a bit south of Dallas. Plenty of talent, headlined by 2026 WR Kohen Brown, who just decomitted from USC. 2027 QB Jerry Meyer III is a really interesting quarterback prospect to keep tabs on. Texas visited a week ago and is set to return on Thursday for one final look. 2027 DB JayQuan Snell is a huge DB prospect next cycle. He reminds me a ton of Jelani McDonald from a physicality and measurables perspective. He visited in early April.
  18. He had a collarbone injury from his senior season of football which is why his baseball debut was delayed. He should be at 100% with that by now, however.
  19. Schloss said postgame Jonah was dealing with cramps on Saturday. Explaining why he was pulled after his go-ahead 3RBI 2B.
