    To no surprise, Texas K Bert Auburn has been named to the 2024 Lou Groza Award Watch List. Auburn grew into one of the country’s top kickers in 2023, making more field goals than any kicker in the land. I am sure most Texas fans would prefer not to have to use Auburn as much this season, but regardless, a great weapon to have for the Texas offense.

    2025 Mansfield Timberview DB Nathan Tilmon has announced his decision is coming next Saturday. The decision will come down to Texas, Utah and TCU. A tightly contested race will finally come to a conclusion with the Longhorns looking to make a final push.

    I am not sure Texas has posted it. I don't believe the coordinators' pressers were posted officially either.

    Texas believes in duo and power, that is their MO. I don't think that will change in the SEC. That second part of the question is one I have been pondering as well, I lean towards Matthew Golden being the dude who buys in the most in that aspect of the game.

    A pair of Longhorns added to the Nagurski watch list – Ant Hill and Jahdae Barron.

    Texas left tackle Kelvin Banks has been added to the 2024 Outland Award Watch List. This of course was the award DL T'Vondre Sweat won in 2023 for the Longhorns. And yes, tackles count as interior linemen for the award.
