  1. There won't be a hotter ticket in Austin, Texas, this weekend than that of the series occurring at Disch-Falk Field. Jim Schlossnagle and the No. 1 ranked Texas Longhorns are set to host Texas A&M for a three-game set this weekend, first pitch at 7 p.m. on SEC Network. Live thread for game one of the series.
  2. Jahdae Barron joins PJ Locke and Brandon Jones in the Denver secondary.
  3. Kelvin Banks goes No. 9 to the New Orleans Saints! The first offensive lineman from Texas since 2002 to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
  4. Arizona WR Tet McMillan goes to Carolina at No. 8, The first WR off the board.
  5. The Jets taking Missouri RT Armand Membou at No. 7 is very much on brand. It mirrors the Mekhi Becton pick from years before. Super athletic, big body, but ultimately more raw than refined. Someone that will need to be developed a bit and likely won't ever be a true LT.
  6. Jake Majors ended up the SEC W2 Offensive Lineman of the Week after dominating Graham and Kenneth Grant.
  7. Wow, the Patriots going with an offensive tackle that is not Kelvin Banks at No. 4
  8. A trade for No. 2! Jaguars on the clock after trading with the Browns. Jags trade No. 5, No. 36, No. 126 and a 2026 1st rounder for Pick No. 2, pick No. 104 and Pick No. 200.
  9. Jack Bouwmeester. 2x All-Big 12 honoree from Utah.
  10. I believe his father is now a pastor in the Austin area. They've lived down here for quite a while. He originally went to Dallas Carter iirc.
  11. Sophomore Hudl: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19653480/66d8c567aa4a2995995b34da
  12. Texas hosted 2027 Pflugerville Weiss WR Tre Moore for the second time in as many weeks this morning. Moore, a 6-foot-3-inch wide out, is the son of former Oklahoma quarterback Eric Moore. The Austin-area playmaker now boasts 22 offers and has steadily been climbing the recruiting rankings since the release of the 2027 class. I would keep close tabs on this one. Moore is a freaky athlete.
  13. Will see if Texas goes the portal only route at K/P. Yes, there will be a premium paid in terms of NIL, but I think you take that trade off every year knowing it will be a consistent level of kicking. I would prefer this route than HS development at the specialist positions.
  14. Texas P Michael Kern has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, CBS Sports the first to report. Kern, an upcoming sophomore, had won the job as a true freshman in 2024, though the staff opted to go a different direction in 2025 with the addition of Jack Bouwmeester from Utah. Texas is up to 12 portalers and currently sits with 83 scholarships.
  15. Had previously signed with Texas until getting out of his NLI when Bo Davis went to LSU.
  16. They sure did. And it was beautiful.
  17. Between the Mavs trading Luka, the Cowboys being the Cowboys and the Rangers hitting a collective .120 this year... I really need the Stars to do something in this playoff run lol
  18. My Cowboys have no hope. They will strikeout tonight most likely and take zero steps forward. I have 0 hope.
  19. Quarterbacks are tough. Howard has some gamer in him and when he doesn't turn the ball over he was a pretty good quarterback his final two years. Big if, though.
  20. In terms of overall All-Pro talent, probably right. But I think there are plenty of starting caliber players going into round four. Heavy tight end, defensive line and running back draft. But poor QB, mediocre WR draft this year which is where all of the excitement is.
