    Xavier Griffin says Texas is recruiting him as a EDGE/LB. His first year would be as an edge defender before moving to off ball after that he says. He says accurate height/weight currently is 6–4, 205.

    Nevermind. Top four schools are all “equal” in his view right now. But a July 4 decision remains the plan. Justus Terry and Zelus Hicks were two hosts for BPW on his trip. He said he spent a lot of time with Steve Sarkisian this weekend.

    Rouse says he and his family sit down together after each official visit to talk pros and cons, the school, the city and ultimately come up with a score for each school. That will eventually be one of the biggest factors for his decision. Bo Barnes was the host for Rouse this weekend. Tennessee visit will be the ultimate decider in my opinion.

    Tennessee has been the school that has been recruiting Rouse the longest and that official visit next weekend is going to be a big one before his decision comes. Rouse says either the first or second week in July for his decision.

    Texas and Clemson are the two standing out the most for 26 Buford (Ga.) EDGE Dre Quinn. Quinn said the Texas visit was the best he’s been on so far. I think the Longhorns did a fantastic job here.
