  1. I would expect to see a Campbell/Hutson-like split from the last two years with Stroh and Neto. Meaning, you probably see Stroh at LG for 75% of snaps over the next three games and perhaps leaking into SEC play.
  2. None are competitive. Most talent is probably SJSU.
  3. Definitely. I would bet Caldwell is the first on the field tomorrow, as he is firmly in QB2 land. Then, my expectation Lacey gets time early on. Real decisions to be made here for Sark/Milwee on who they see getting these valuable live reps.
  4. Will probably keep eyes glued on this thread for the next 75 minutes or so!
  5. For the OTF OG's, ask me anything! It is late enough on a Friday afternoon where you can go ahead and mentally log out and prepare for the upcoming weekend of football. To help get you to the weekend, feel free to get your questions in!
  6. I'm hoping not for field goal attempts this weekend, but can't help but wonder what Mason Shipley will eventually look like this season.
  7. He's a stud. Feels like he always finds the football, regardless of where it is.
  8. Going to be plenty of points in Cowboys games this season. That is for sure.
  9. There were three big time throws arch completed in the 4Q that should have him feeling somewhat confident. Endries on the sideline, Livingstone TD & Livingstone 4th down attempt. All elite NFL level throws.
  10. Texas scored 7 points. Whether they were high or not, they were higher than one single touchdown last Saturday. It was a failure of a game plan and it was a failure of execution.
  11. Definitely. Really, my biggest takeaway from that is the trust the staff had in Zina Umeozulu to play the run as often as he did. He was one of the edge rushers when Texas went big on the goal. And no, not really too surprised by Jackson. He is a total stud and plays the run better than the other two. Vasek will see 25 snaps this weekend against a team that throws the ball 45 times.
  12. I thought Chase Daniel's breakdown was great.
  13. Good stuff by Chase Daniel to breakdown the quarterback position this weekend.
  14. Wanted to share my final thoughts on Arch Manning ahead of the non-conference action over the next three weeks. I think Arch Manning will be fine. The quickest way to elevate his game is to truly trust that offensive line which played admirably against Ohio State last Saturday. Trust in the offensive line will do a few things: 1. Slow down the game, allowing Arch to read his keys instead of skipping chapters to find a check down. 2. Allow Arch to play comfortably within the pocket, cleaning up the mechanical issues we saw due to a sped up internal clock. 3. Provide opportunities for routes downfield to develop and come open downfield, something that happened on Saturday but was not given a chance as a result of some skiddishness. Three weeks to improve and as a betting man, the one thing I am not going to do is bet against Arch Manning.
  15. The Texas Longhorns fall to No. 7 in the latest AP Top 25. Meanwhile, it is Ohio State who moves up to the top spot in the country. Ohio State Penn State LSU Georgia Miami Oregon Texas Clemson Notre Dame South Carolina Illinois Arizona State Florida Florida State Michigan Iowa State SMU Oklahoma Texas A&M Ole Miss Alabama Tennessee Indiana Texas Tech Utah
  16. I came away thinking Sayin played well. The freedom they give him will only expand. But he was smart, he was on time and there was not a throw that I remember that was in harm's way. Again, they definitely had the trianing wheels on, but the throw to Inniss on the slot fade was spectacular and completed against just about any other team in the country. He had moments.
  17. Well again, I think Florida is very talented. Whether Lagway had great numbers or not isn't the point. That roster on both sides of the ball is better this year than it was last year.
  18. The talent on Florida's roster vs. that of Miss State isn't in the same stratosphere. That's why.
