  1. So with Goosby out for spring with shoulder surgery let’s take a look at the starting line. This is just a guess: LT - Baker LG - Sikorski C - Robertson RG - I have no idea. Move Chatman inside? RT - Siani Any guesses other than starting three tackles?
  2. Very thorough and convincing counter point.
  3. Ho-Lee-Crap. I just finally got a chance to watch the first 15 minutes of coffee and football and it sure sounds like Texas is waving the white flag on adding anyone else with experience to the guard spot. What a freaking joke. PRIORITY NUMBER ONE was fixing the OLINE this year. Sark himself lamented last spring that he couldn’t just “go down to the Co-Op and buy a few new linemen.” And now he can and he chose not to? What in the actual hell is going on. We lost Neto, Brooks, Cruz, Kibble and Stroh to the portal from the offensive guard spot and we add one freaking guard who has six starts to his name and was displaced as a starter on the Oregon State line after the first five games and call it a day? Absolute atrocity in a season that they claimed to to be going all in on. What in the actual hell. I would have sworn the silence and lack of action was all part of waiting out this final puzzle piece from the westlake kid or someone else. Hope is not a strategy. We found that out the hard way in 2025. And apparently learned nothing from it. Unreal.
  4. That's what I just can’t come to grips with either. The mods must be being silent on this so as not to jinx the last minute fireworks. That’s all I can imagine is going on.
  5. Good lord we’re a mess if putting five starters on the field is considered a success.

  7. 27-2 in two seasons with a natty, heisman and back to back CFP appearances.
  8. The people who recruited them? Cruz, Kibble, Stroh, Brooks, Neto all were recruited to help take over when the 2024 starting line needed reloading. They’ve all been flushed from the program. That’s an issue worth questioning regardless of who we might pull in here at the final hour.
  9. Agree to the Big Game hunting theory, but in regards to a “lack of candidates” to target this isn’t a game of who enters the portal it’s about negotiating with agents behind the scenes and recruiting players TO the portal. We did this with the Michigan guys and we didn’t close. We moved on to some other targets who went elsewhere as well. We prioritized Cam Coleman and we won. We’ll see how things sit when the dust settles but as of now I haven’t seen the same conviction to signing the best of the best along the offensive line.
  10. The vaunted “four tackle” offensive line.
  11. The shift in livestream conversation from two weeks ago to tonight is frightening. Talking up the Coleman twins as a possible answer on this years line lol. We sorely need the elite starting left guard we all talked about needing. And don’t tell me they’re not in the portal they would be if we prioritized one hard enough.
  12. As it stands? Not dramatic at all. But we will obviously be adding more than one dude in the portal.
  13. Here’s where things sit without listing freshman or adding anyone else in the portal. LT - Goosby (Jr) LG - Sikorski (So) C - C.Robertson (Sr) RG - Chatman (Jr) RT - Baker (Jr) or Cojoe (Knee / Jr) Terrifying
  14. Quick question. What are we doing at OL.
  15. Hodges Shon Mitchel Butch Hadnot Taje Allen Case McCoy Ogbanaya Dronett
  16. My two cents. Arch and Simmons are gonna rule the locker room this season. Not sure who is in line to take over when they leave but for now I don’t think we’ll have much trouble.
  17. He seems like a great backup to Goodby and/or Baker this season. Groomed and ready for 2027.
  18. Yep we get just two SEC starter quality OL and some depth pieces and we have dominated this portal for needs.
  19. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We have one depth piece so far at OL. We need at least two new difference makers projected into the starting lineup and that’s only if Robertson is the plan at Center.
  20. If we attack our biggest priority OL the way we have every other offensive position hooboy. Still have PTSD from this past season until we acquire some DUDES on the offensive line in the portal.
