  1. Its worse. They would have taken Miami's spot contractually instead of a head to head cfp decision where they lost on the field. And haven forbid we're #10/11 next year and get bumped by them + some combo of a weak ACC champ or 2nd G5 Champ or 2nd place ACC/B12 team.
  2. I'd like the committee to be able to change seeds to avoid rematches as much as possible. Swap Bama and Miami, Tulane and JMU. Punishes the 1st match loser. On the plus side, no ohio state/ Indiana rematch until the title game, though Indiana will probably face the Ducks after the NIL bowl if they beat Tech. And, maybe that's how ND was dropped (head to head Miami loss along with an Aggie matchup).
  3. 1. UGA isn't 2010s Bama. 2. They don't need an NFL QB.
  4. Agree on a HC needing to be obsessed and have no hobbies or anything distracting outside of football. The wandering eye for other jobs is hopefully just speculation, and he also needs to fire his OC and promote the part time big game analyst, that guy's a genius.
  5. Living that Sonny Dykes dream or Saban fantasy? Or we're just going to money whip Freeman?!
  6. This is the problem, claiming head to head over Vandy and OU is the only way to move us ahead of them (and BYU which would be ahead of Utah), and unlikely Bama drops out. Not saying we don't deserve it, just a complete human intervention over the data driven components. Beating directional state instead of losing to Ohio State isn't what puts us over these teams; the SOS hit hurts and computer algos still see the struggles vs mid teams. The Florida loss is concrete on our ankles. Also ironic our fate would depend on Manny iaz and uke.
  7. For a minute I thought I was reading the Onion instead of OTF. Wild! However it shakes out, UNT travelling to Aggie and pulling an App State would be all time epic.
  8. Probably better to play them early rather than late
  9. The truth is 8 is enough, without AQs. What fanbase wouldn't buy into the hopium that a 16 team playoff would offer? But tossing the ACC and G5 a bone, and allowing OU and a 2nd Big 12 team in, means teams like us feel slighted we can't sneak in as #10. Even if we didn't schedule OSU, get a 4th Q beating by Uga, and lose to Florida, we have enough data points to know we're not winning 3 straight top 10 games. But getting rid of CCGs and bad bowls is worth a discussion. How about adding a revenue generating spring game instead?!
  10. This really throws my basement yarn map off. All the evidence was lining up for a backroom Sexton master plan for Sark to go to a NFL team with a bum owner and then hand over the program to Lane as a hand picked successor. After Lane poaches PK, it can only mean Saban is being hired as DC/HC in waiting.
  11. Nah, that's just B1G Georgia. We need an Indiana to take care of him in embarrassing fashion. Not going to pull for Tech, Oregon, Oklahoma, A&M or Notre Dame either. Who's left? Ole Miss?
  12. 20-20 in regulation. 23-23 first overtime. 31-29 Texas Final, Hero Kanu with the 2 pt conversion on offense.
  13. $250 in '91 would have gone pretty far. Great video!
  14. But Pawwwwl, S Florida beat Florida! The committee must use the transitive property!
