  1. Urban is not above setting us up for failure, so I like that he's calling for a Buckeyes win. However the idea that all Day can trust Sayin to do is low risk passes for a field possession game has me licking my chops if our OL holds up. Meanwhile I'd like to see Sark pull a secret hidden 2H starting script out of his back pocket.
  2. This gets all of the emojis 😪🤔🤫🫨🤣 😕
  3. Looks like Hiter was waiting on penalties to be announced... W for Michigan
  4. Some might say that will come later, in our SEC opener
  5. In an alternate universe he'd be starting for us, Keinholz would have just beaten Air Noland or a portal dude, while Quinn would be starting for the Falcons. But thankfully that's not the actual story arc... #blessed
  6. How about this: 1) 2 game preseason, records don't count, schedule vs historic rival or regional teams incl fcs, basically a scrimmage and rev generator 2) 32-48 team super league, world cup style groupings of 8. Promotion/relegation optional to the rest of D1 FBS 3) top 16 advance to playoffs in mid Nov. Mirror playoffs for non superleague. Bowl games for rest - A&M Texas Bowl dreams vs B12 live on. 4) National championship Jan 1-10 timeframe, done before spring enrollment 5) 2 portal windows: Dec and May 6) 1 signing day, Dec 1 7) 1-2 revenue spring games allowed vs other schools
  7. Clearly people need to be outraged over the punter
  8. I can't stomach the title; more like "The Gambler and his Blown Dynasty"... or "Cowboys Fans vs The Glory Hole: how Dumb Money makes Money" I don't want to reward Jerry with views, but, what can a fan do?
  9. Separating this from the 10-2 bargain thread was savvy! I'm personally all in for an undefeated season. SP+ at 9 wins feels bearish! 10-2 is what to take to Vegas. I like that the FPI table also includes chances of going undefeated to calibrate exuberance. A 9% chance is pretty reassuring to me! SP+ would curb that enthusiasm a bit but then we can explain away preseason data 😎
  10. P.s.s. I'd like to bubble wrap some guys Oct 15-Nov 1. Basically, the SEC title game is the ONLY game we can shrug off after that.
  11. Like it? No. Take it if still means CFP and especially with a championship at the end? Every time, yes! Take it and fall short? That depends on the momentum Arch carries into '26.... 10-2 despite key injuries and losing by a fg in the nat'l championship with bad referree calls > 12-0 followed by a SEC title game turd vs say, Bama or LSU, and then an early cfp exit. P.s. I'd rank the desire to win these games like this: Georgia, A&M, OSU, OU, Florida. Losing to Florida and OU would be the best 10-2 scenario but BOYYYYY would we all be in a meltdown headed to Lexington.
  12. I also thought 12-0 was the ceiling 🤣
  13. Good measurables, NIL potential - is she a culture fit?!
  14. Possible that the Matador club bought all of the suites?
  15. The NS 30 for 30 could be entertaining
  16. Kinda cold blooded on the sound track
  17. Love the reruns, but hoping the next championship release drops soon! Then, 20 years from now, it will be fun to see if we still watch 06 as the most iconic game ever - its quite possible that it will still be the case!
  18. I hope the Mannings could veto that but I guess it's possible... But Saban?! Seriously?! Would have been funnier and more likely to say Belichick!
  19. If I'm understanding this - a sponsored business nil deal has the review burden, but, a direct payment from a collective is exempt? Or the collective passes money through the school? As a real world example - I've seen speculation that Felix signed Techs deal before July 1 with half paid by Tech and half by TBD, but haven't seen it confirmed. So assuming he signed after the 1st, now he doesn't have to worry about justifying the value of the TBD source?
  20. Not just chasing da bag. Unreal! Glad no one was hurt, and his 2 game suspension vs fcs opponents will be a life lesson.
  21. He's in the zone where others need supplemental oxygen The waiting may be the hardest part! Age wise, hopefully he gets it done in that window. Tom Kite won the US Open at Pebble at age 42 though!
  22. Interesting, he didn't say to NOT put a fence around the state, but I'm not sure we can credibly say that and still recruit over a top instate player (which absolutely needs to be on the table). More than that, "the best stay in Texas" line, which I love, seems to have been flipped around by guys wanting to spread their wings and wallets - just a reality. Gotta fight fire with fire. Last thing: we're taking advantage of Florida schools being down, and are plucking kids out of Georgia, Bama, and LSUs back yards - but can't make headway in SoCal or regularly tap someone from Az?! Doesn't make sense!
