    If Bama beats LSU and Georgia beats Ole Miss and we win out, UGA faces Bama in Atlanta and then All State hands us the big prize!

    With injuries, do not want to have to go to the CCG and face UGA. Best case if we win out is for Ole Miss to beat Georgia, which might give us a rematch that I'd be more confident in converting into a bye or 5 seed. My biggest battered fan scenario is for A&M to be circling our game and pulling a Florida/OU level game with a backup QB not Reed.

    He sure can't be trusted to not have a weak link in the unit, whether it is lack of development, or evals, or landing "must get" recruits / portal targets is up for debate. He may not own QB performance, but he definitely should own the lack of running game success.

    At the time, I thought he regretted the decision from the week before, adressed it in practice, and it was a reasonable challenge to his unit. Reflecting on it during the game, I'd much rather have used my D for field position and clock management. But I was trusting the D at that point in the game. Now seeing his answer, its baffling to say play design was a factor in failing. That's what last week - and the off-season including the portal - were for. It make all of the above moot and makes the season and program not only about a lower ceiling, but lower floor.

    Here's another more specific question. The top 20 p4 offenses in points per drive score at least 3 points. Texas is under 2.4 pts/drive, which is #42 and not in the the top 10 of any of the 4 power conferences. How do we find an extra .5 pts/drive, or an extra 2 drives per game, to have championship caliber offense if you agree that this metric matters? Source: OFEI

    This is fair, because if he did, I'd ask: since we passed on Keelon Russell, then we must have other great options in our QB room to try, right?

    @CJ Vogel following up on Sark deflecting your good questions, maybe ask something like this: what stats are you most focused on improving, statistically, on offense - as specific examples, out of 138 D1 teams here is how Joel Klatt framed our offense this week:

    Is the hiring priority teaching/installing, or game day playcalling and adjustments? The first would be more of a teacher, the latter could be a NFL guy. But the crux on the first is finding a guy thats great at teaching college athletes who can Grok Sark's NFL playbook and system, while an NFL guy might only know how to work with pros - possibly very transactionally too.

    P.s.s. I'm rooting for Arch and Sark. I hope Sark wins multiple championships in the next decade and hope Arch builds on his Texas degree to succeed in whatever he wants to do in life. Both are worthy of Lifetime Longhorn Legend status just based on success to date. But the football business decision is simply win or fix it fast.
