    With tonight’s loss, Schloss joins Gus, Augie and Pierce as the only other Texas coaches in the history of the university to lose their season opener. Everyone will point out DP there, but not bad company to be in.

    Just FYI: it was a precautionary hold last weekend, as she wasn’t 100% at the time. The staff felt there was zero need to put her out there against the opponents they were facing. She’s fine going forward.

    Phenomenal game. Watched it on the way home tonight. We had baseball on my phone and softball on my wife’s phone. Hell of a performance by both teams. Canady will fare well in the Big 12 for the most part.

    Let them laugh. They need to remember who built that program and enjoy it this year, because the future is not as bright. There’s a reason their ass is getting handed to them on the recruiting trail. Good luck with that.

    Baseball is a cruel, cruel sport. Just when you think it’s a done deal, the baseball gods snatch it away and spit in your face. A tale as old as time. Side note: I watched my hometown girls basketball team (#15 in state) lose tonight to No. 1 in the state in a second round playoff game. Then came home and watched Texas lose like that. Been a great evening. Heres to a better tomorrow!

    NFL Network/NFL.com released a three round Mock Draft and eight Longhorns made the list, including two in the top 14.     His water is really good. Most convenience stores carry it too. Crazy Water made in Mineral Wells is amazing. They have three different types of water, each one having more and more minerals in it. https://drinkcrazywater.com I love both. I usually use store brand “drinking water” or spring water for when I mix supplements, since it completely changes the taste. I add in Creatine and either Cure Hydration Electrolytes (lime or lemonade) or Ultima Lemonade flavored electrolytes to it.

    Three Longhorns have been named All-Americans by the National College Baseball Writers Association, the organization announced on Friday. Shortstop Jalin Flores was named to the first team, while pitcher Ruger Riojas and outfielder Max Belyeu were named to the second team.
