  1. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. Today's play is the touchdown that sealed the deal for Texas beating Alabama last season. Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell catches a 39 yard bomb from QB Quinn Ewers for a touchdown to put the Longhorns ahead 34-24, which ended up being the final score. It was Mitchell's second TD grab of the game and one of many clutch receptions for the playmaker.

  3. Was sorting out which plays to pick for the last few days. No. 2 might be my favorite, but man 1-5 are tough to choose just one!
  4. I almost went with this, but since we used that same game for No. 8, I wanted to do something different.
  5. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. We're now six days away from kickoff and today's play is a doozy. Rewind back to January of 2009 when the Horns met Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl. After a back and forth close game, Texas was trailing 21-17 with 1:49 remaining and the ball on the 22 yard line. Colt McCoy lead the Horns on a methodical drive down the field, before finding Quan Cosby for the go ahead touchdown with mere seconds left on the clock. Final score: Texas 24 Ohio State 21
  6. No worries! Just thought I’d share that because of the video attached. Worth the watch for sure!
  7. It’s a scrimmage. They were probably working a defensive period for Chester and his school.
  8. Texas has secured a commitment from Amir Thompson. He is the son of track legends Marion Jones and Obadele Thompson. Runs a 10.5 100 and a 21.12 200.
  9. I posted this around the first week of August includes a good video on it!
  10. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. We are now seven days away from kickoff. Today's play is one of the most memorable stops in Texas history. The best part is that it eventually lead to possibly the most memorable moment ever just minutes later. 4th and 2. Lendale White enters the game (20+ years later we still wonder why Reggie Bush wasn’t in) and has to convert in order to seal the deal for USC. Get the first and it’s over. Three time national champs with just two yards. The Horns had other plans, however, and made the stop with No. 7 Michael Huff sealing the deal.
