  2. Fox for some reason giving that point to Wisconsin but definitely not the case. As Bierce said, 15-14 Texas.

  4. Definitely one of the best Gameday moments ever!
  5. While I don’t condone the use of Streameast officially…. Unofficially I can say it works very well for sporting events, especially UFC PPV. Just make sure you don’t use the knockoff versions, as there are a ton out there.
  6. Definitely taking the Mike White/Vic Schaefer approach!
  7. This game is tied for fewest points under Dabo since 2008.
  8. More Corso facts: - Set the career interceptions record at FSU and is still tied for 2nd on the list with Deion Sanders. - He recruited the first black player in ACC history while he was an assistant with Maryland in the early 1960s. - Corso called timeout while being HC at Indiana to celebrate their 7-6 lead over Ohio State. 9. Yesterday on ESPN’s College Gameday, Lee Corso (like the rest of the staff) made five picks for Saturday’s games. But he was the only one to nail all of them, including being the Lone Ranger on two of his picks. Boise State over Georgia Southern Vanderbilt over Virginia Tech (only one) Penn State over West Virginia Miami over Florida Notre Dame over Texas A&M (only one) He also has LSU over USC and FSU over BC. Also, did you know that Corso turned down a contract from the Los Angeles Dodgers to play college football and that his roommate was Burt Reynolds?
  10. An Abilene Christian University football bus was involved in an accident shortly before midnight Saturday, following its game against Texas Tech in Lubbock. A university statement says there were four minor injuries on the bus including a student-athlete, two coaches and the bus driver. All were taken to a local hospital. The accident involved at least one other vehicle and the ACU statement says it happened at the intersection of Marsha Sharp freeway frontage road and University Avenue at approximately 11:45pm. The university statement said in part, "We (ACU) are grateful to Texas Tech Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt, their team physician, Dr. Michael Phy, and all of the first responders for their assistance and care." https://ktxs.com/news/local/4-hurt-in-acu-football-team-bus-accident Edit: a 19 year old has been arrested https://www.bigcountryhomepage.com/news/19-year-old-charged-with-dwi-following-acu-bus-crash/ Edit: Changed title, as the original news story apparently made mention of alcohol being involved. That is no longer the case.
  11. Nationally televised broadcast today on FOX beginning at 11:30.
  12. Definitely. It was a great hit, but the Injury aspect is very real. still awesome though! lol
  13. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. Today's play goes back to 2009, when Texas and Texas Tech squared off. The Horns were up in the 4th quarter 24-17 and Texas Tech had hopes of tying it up. Sergio Kindle had other plans, however. Kindle sacked QB Taylor Potts, forcing a fumble which the Longhorns recovered and it eventually lead to another Texas touchdown. The Horns won 34-24.
  14. Join us at 8:10 for Coffee and Football, where we’ll be talking all about the latest Horns news and taking your questions.
  15. For some reason I was thinking he was 7. lol
  16. As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number. We’re now three days away from kickoff and today’s play is Quinn Ewers 44 yard touchdown strike to Xavier Worthy last year in Tuscaloosa. It marked the first touchdown of the game and put the Horns up 10-3, before they eventually won 34-24.
  17. Wake up with Coffee and Football at 8:10 AM, as we talk anything and everything Texas related, plus take your questions. Today we’re joined by long time friend of the show and Texas Women’s Basketball Head Coach Vic Schaefer.
