  1. Texas turns two and almost got the triple play, but Ags answer back with a line drive at Mac, which she bobbles. 2 on, 2 outs.
  2. Would be one hell of a comeback. Top of the 7th. A&M has two runners on. No outs.

  4. GRAND SLAMMMMMMMM With two outs and bases loaded, Texas’ Victoria Hunter hits the grand slam and it’s now 6-4 in the bottom of the 6th.
  5. Man the B6 had some potential to get runs on the board but Texas hasn’t been able to capitalize thus far.
  6. Looks like an assistant coach from each team got ejected after getting into it and having to be separated.
  7. The Ags score again. 6-0 going to the bottom of the 6th. I was going to wait until this game was over to goto the store, but I may just head on at this rate. 😕 This is now the largest deficit the Longhorns have faced ALL SEASON.
  8. Most definitely. What’s crazy is the one girl for TAMU (name escapes me as I type this) is responsible for all five of their runs. 2 HR, 5 RBI game for her so far.
  9. A two run homer for Ags make it 5-0. Texas just looks flat.
  10. We will use this as the thread for the weekend, not just for Texas but for all teams playing from now until Sunday. Late to the party but Texas has to get some offense going. At the top of the 5th, Texas A&M leads the Longhorns 3-0 in the first game of the best of three series.
  11. You ain't woofin.
  12. Latest projection from D1Baseball and it ain’t good for Texas:
  13. Sounds like you’re no longer allowed at away games. Making the call right now. 😉
  14. 100% agree with everything you said. Texas has found a way to win every Big 12 matchup except one, but they haven’t looked like a team who dominated the conference. At all. Not in the way you’d expect, anyway.
  15. It’s Friday, so start your weekend off with us beginning at 8 AM for Coffee and Football. We will be discussing all things Texas and taking your questions!
  16. The NCAA and its five power conferences have agreed to allow schools to directly pay players for the first time in the 100-plus-year history of college sports. The NCAA and its leagues are planning to alert plaintiffs' attorneys Thursday that they are prepared to move forward with a multibillion-dollar agreement to settle three pending federal antitrust cases, sources told ESPN. The NCAA will pay more than $2.7 billion in damages over 10 years to past and current athletes, according to sources. Sources said the parties also have agreed to a revenue-sharing plan allowing each school to share up to roughly $20 million per year with its athletes. All Division I athletes dating back to 2016 are eligible to receive a share as part of the settlement class. In exchange, athletes cannot sue the NCAA for other potential antitrust violations and drop their complaints in three open cases -- House v. NCAA, Hubbard v. NCAA and Carter v. NCAA. more here: https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/40206364/ncaa-power-conferences-agree-allow-schools-pay-players

  18. Texas, in general, hasn’t done well in the Big 12 tournament. Winning it a handful of times in 26 years isn’t good. Its not obtuse in saying I wouldn’t base any decision on the Big 12 tournament alone. That would be insanely dumb. Regular season and post season is what should be considered, with post season play being considered the most.
  19. On Thursday morning the Longhorns picked up a preferred walk-on commitment from All Saints Episcopal ATH Reid Watkins. Originally committed to Tulsa, Watkins decided to instead take the PWO opportunity in Austin once he was accepted into Texas. Watkins also had scholarship offers from Houston, Navy, Troy and more. The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder can play both running back and safety, although most schools recruited him as a safety. Watkins went to high school in Brock before transferring to All Saints his senior year.
  20. Good morning! We’ll be live shortly after 8:00 AM to talk about the latest in Longhorns news. We will also be joined by Texas Softball HC Mike White today.
