    Yup, 12 wins and 10 wins your first two seasons as a head coach helps as well, recruits can see the potential. Allowing Lanning to come into your state and get 3 of the top 10 recruits while you get at most one is not a good sign.

    As Gerry has said, you don’t just start flipping folks, you need a chain of events to happen. Yes we flipped Banks and Williams, after their coach left. Yes we flipped Anthony Hill, they weren’t winning and their coach was all but fired. Yes we flipped Filsimie, they weren’t winning. Those are the chain of events Gerry is talking about.

    He was put in the position because Sark hired him, it’s his job to meet the expectations of the job he accepted, what are the expectations? One would assume landing a few of the five DTs that visited. I’d love to suggest the reason I’m not meeting expectations or goals in my role are due to the previous person who held my job and “the way they left”.
