    College football coaches are trying to get out. Seeing P5 coaches at good programs willing to leave and go be a coordinator in nfl is wild stuff.

    Possibly, it shows you signed up the 20th, I signed up the 21st, maybe one more day will be the difference, not sure. I think I’d attribute it to me being a little overzealous with reactions following the Gerry news today.

    I’m aware that it doesn’t have GM title. I was asking who holds the title of associate AD for football, which Bobby referenced it being essentially the same. Apologies for the confusion.

    The cost of success is losing coaches. With that said, this seems like a lateral move to me. He’s essentially the GM at Texas without the title.

    Great points. It’s exhausting trying to think of a solution just for signing day, let alone portal, NIL and the coaching carousel. They’ve got their hands full when it comes to trying to find remedies. There first needs to be a governing body that isn’t named the NCAA, because we all know they don’t have a solution.

    Definitely agree. Just changing the signing day and portal window would help alleviate a lot. The one time transfer rule would help as well IMO. More guidance and structure around NIL also. Yeah, I’m not sure how they do all that they do day in and day out, would be exhausting.
