Red Five

Not something he showed this year, although he was better pre-injury.

It's also possible he's the only portal WR we take.

I'm also glad you're feeling better Nancy.

"Quinn Ewers has been great all season for @TexasFootball but could we see more Arch Manning in the College Football Playoff?" Not EXACTLY how Eisen phrased those questions....

I'm not sure if this is a bit or what, as it's hard to translate, but I said he probably is going to the draft.

Probably so. But if, say, Miami wants to spend a couple of million, as opposed to getting drafted in the fourth or fifth rounds, it's a real decision. Or maybe some team really likes him and he goes in the second.

Maybe. Maybe he can make more money in college.

If you're Auburn, would you prefer Jackson Arnold or Murphy? Or, (ducks) Ewers.

I applaud your efforts, but he's probably a mid-round guy right now. Gerry said if he were an NFL GM he wouldn't even have him on his board.

Well hopefully not until after we've won the national championship.

The contrast to what Hurley is doing.... wasn't great.

Ewers has cost himself a bunch of money this year. He might have gone in the first round last year. And I'm reasonably sure at this point that if we had spent the offseason preparing for Arch to be the starter, and if he had started every game this year to this point, we'd be in a better situation right now. Hindsight is 20/20 though, because I was certainly cool with Ewers coming back.

So, Bizarro Ewers. Wonder where we could find one of those.

I would say it's more likely we look for a Keilan Robinson type. Baxter should be good to go. Don't think we'll return everyone, though. Which means probably not both Blue and Gibson.

I don't think Taaffe had any stars.

That's how you know you just played in a real rivalry game.

I have an idea...

Do they? That always seemed like an atm type thing. I wouldn't think Michigan defines themselves and their season based on one game.

Commander Riker probably shouldn't sleep in Columbus tonight. Get you and your family out of there.

From memory, but I think this would make him 1-5 against Michigan, and 47-1 against the rest of the conference.

Is OSU point shaving? This is ridiculous.

Mayo is disgusting.

I don't know what that means. I just quoted you. Of course we can win without Ewers. I'm not even sure at this point he's the best QB on the team. And I certainly don't think he is if he's out there hobbling around.

So many declarative statements, said with such confidence.

I'm sorry to hear that. Occupational hazard.
