    I live in N Austin. A large area including my neighborhood had a power outage this afternoon. Only last a little over an hour.

    UT offers almost unlimited undergraduate degrees including: Religious Studies, Philosophy, French Studies, German Studies, etc. etc. Not sure what kind of “real job market” exists for those degrees. I know numerous people making extremely good money in professions that have nothing to do with their undergraduate degree. Company required college degree, not a specific college degree. I don’t know what the answers are to fix the current wild west of CFB, but I think it’s great these guys are getting to experience college and a chance to earn a degree.

    Playoff committee is a joke right now. BYU above TX is nonsense. Alabama’s not been playing great football for several weeks; hope they get dog walked. James Madison & Tulane, come on, what are we doing? Simply expanding to 16 isn’t the fix unless this other crap gets fixed as well. My .02.

    Very well said. It’s 100% how I feel too! The “no playoff = failed season” mentality I just can’t get with. I see this season as being frustrating & disappointing at times mixed in with some big wins. Certainly not a “Failure”. Love this team & was so happy for them last night. Horns up always! 🤘🤘

    I was a Science tutor for the UT Athletic department for awhile. The freshmen all had mandatory study hall. The center was packed every night. Tutors available at the center day hours and evening hours. Everything possible was done to help the student athletes be successful.

    Seems harsh. Sure a Naty is the goal. Only 1 team a year succeeds at that. Disappointment for teams & fans that thought they’d reach that goal but didn’t. Having a disappointing season isn’t sunshine & rainbows. But labeling anything less than a Naty as “failed” - nah that’s not for me. Horns up always. 🤘
