    It's not a NIL issue, we have zero commits. And we didn't have to use much NIL in portal last year b/c we lost out on all the war daddie$$ and lost our only 5 star DT last year after signing day so there's plenty of NIL money to get DT commits. Unless we are giving it to all these commits with "down the road" potential which I highly doubt.

    Exactly, we are now going to be offering kids who we wouldn't bring in for official visits.... We seemed to miss big on in state DT's evals as well.

    Exactly, Cole listed at 5'10 170lbs. Not sure how he's going to hold up in SEC.

    He's recruiting well the last 2 years and they have a lot of momentum currently. Plus, he did beat us last year as an underdog. Why not lock him in for recruiting purposes? (We did the same thing after 1 good year btw but I was all for it)

    I think we all have faith in Sark, I know I do, just wish someone had balls to ask him why he thinks at QB position it's necessary to offer kids before their Jr and Sr evals. Would like to hear the answer. With a current 3 deep better than the Denver Broncos, I could care less who we are taking that may or may not play in 5-6 years... That and it really seems like Russell is going to bite us similar to Mack not taking Luck, RG3, and Manziel. I can already see the interviews when Bama wins a title, "Texas was my dream school but"......

    Read up on Bobby Layne along time ago, interesting guy on and off the field. He won 3 Championships in NFL. Long time ago but might be our best "Pro" ever.
