    Couldn't agree more on all the "passing" on a lot of starters at the DT position in portal. As @Gerry Hamilton says, there's no excuses for lacking talent or depth in the Portal era at a blue blood school. The "patience" in the portal has backfired big time.

    Todd Bates is a really good DT coach with a lot of skins on the wall, I doubt NIL was that different. Let's not be that fan base that everytime we lose a recruit we cry NIL. With that being said, hopefully our OL puts him on skates and costs him a lot of money in the 2025 draft.

    Good stuff, also important to play in the Big 10 or SEC. 24 of the 32 picks and 11 of the top 13 are from these conferences using 2024 conferences.

    Army Navy would be #1 for obvious reasons for me. For other rivalries, both teams have to be competitive for me if Texas isn't involved. For example, never really cared about Ohio St Michigan until last few years with Michigan being good. I'd put Bedlam (RIP), Bama/Auburn, and Tennessee Georgia up there as well. Miami FSU has lost its shine but that was fun to watch back in the day.

    I can't imagine anyone wanting to go to the league to play for CU, it's a train wreck. Does Big 12 allow spring transfers to go to other league members?

    This is a false narrative. While it might not be the highest in the SEC, it's competitive. Maybe Terry can give up some of his since he doesn't know how to build a roster either.

    It's crazy how bad the recruiting sites are on DL position. Kid is unranked but has offers from Texas, LSU, Miami, Auburn, USC, Georgia, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

    3 Top 50 players released from NIL in 16 months, outcoached in 2nd half consistently, major concerns with roster mgmt, lack of player development with roster, whining (after losing at home to a horrible team) about horns down after CDC's "embrace the hate message", etc. I doubt our AD who loves hoops is going to prolong this to 2 years.

    Yeah its been going on for a long time, see NBA refs... Crazy thing he was betting against himself and pulled himself out of both of the games so under bets were hit. As a nuggets fan, just hoping his bro isn't involved at all but he has serious cold spell runs. Hard not to think of possible point shaving with him now.
