    I'm not a fan of conference champs getting in automatically. Just take top 12 teams by committee. And, with our scheduling, we need it to be at 16. We could have 3 losses this year, make playoffs and win the whole thing.

    With the lack of depth at DT, we really can't afford to take "projects" can we? Or take 1-2 projects then 3-4 upper classmen in transfer portal next year?

    Does ESPN have NFL on TH? Seems like would be a better draw to have Texas playing that night vs. Egg Bowl. I miss those Thanksgiving games, were the best.

    I laugh at this, Tennessee saying they are the real UT is like South Carolina saying they are the real USC.

    We need to lighten up our non-conference, especially if the committee isn't going to award SOS. Which I doubt they will. Give me Rice every year, then a directional school (Wofford or Slippery Rock still play football?), Then rotate a brand team in California, Arizona, Colorado.
